My life came crashing down around me in January 2017, I was pulled in the Air Force's Special Investigation office and told I was being accused of Article 120, Sexual Assault. It was the second worst day of my life. Immediately following I was assigned a military defense council and starting the night mare. I hired Mr. Waddington in May when I was officially charged. As soon as I did his wife started piecing together the case and helping to walk me through what to expect.
My 32 hearing came up, and we tried to wave it. However, the government chose to proceed anyway. At the hearing things were presented that I thought was a slam dunk. Long story short I got the recommendation to have it dropped, but it was instead pushed forward just like Mr. Waddington said it would be.
Flash forward to the second week of December when the trial is set to begin. I met Mr. Waddington for the first time on Sunday. I was unsure of what to expect, but before me stood a very big personality in the room. We talked through what to expect and how he wanted to proceed. The trail kicked off on Tuesday and away he went.
The opening argument from the prosecution was sickening. They made me out to be the biggest monster in the world, and played a good show of theatrics that had the jury on the verge of tears. Mr. Waddington got up and gave a brief but powerful opening statement.
As trial proceeded, he expertly cross examined every witness and make them look like fools. He caught them in lie after lie, and starting to lay the foundation for motive. When the alleged victim testified, she answered almost every question with, "I don't know." He was still able to catch her in lies, and had her looking to her legal team at a loss for words. Every time the prosecution would object he would laugh it off and steer around the objection to still get to the intended destination. It was like watching someone throw darts at inflated balloons and seeing them pop.
When closing arguments came, I thought I was doomed. The went on for over an hour about how I was a violent predator and a monster. They went on to say how their case was proven and tried to only use certain parts of witnesses testimonies and disregard other facts. I cried for ten minutes in the hall with all hope lost.
Mr. Waddington got up and gave his closing argument, and he meticulously picked apart every word they said, exposing the holes an showing that I did not do what I was accused of.
Once it came time to deliberate, he sat me down and talked me through what to expect if things didn't go well for us, and then let me sit in with my wife and family to await verdict. I sat there looking at videos and pictures of my daughters...it was the worst moment of my life. After three hours the jury came out and gave me a not guilty verdict....I almost collapsed from emotion. Afterwards, I went back with Mr. Waddington and co-counsel to decompress and talk. He told me about how much he loved defending military members, and wished me the best of luck with my life since it was my own again. We parted ways after that.
I cannot thank this man enough, he gave me back my life. If you are in a situation such as this....hire him. Yes, the cost is high...but the results are worth it. He is not a cheap lawyer from down the street. He is a hard hitting defense attorney that is worth his weight in gold. He is a very well put together man, and his presence in the room is felt by all. He is very professional but at the same time, a normal person. He jokes, he laughs and he is up front and honest from the start. I cannot say enough good things about this man. Hire him, don't think about it...just do it. He will give you your life back...he gave me mine back and for that I am eternally grateful.

I hired Mike Waddington when they Army started an investigation on me for fraternization, abusive sexual contact, and wrongful appropriation of government property. I was two months shy of retirement and I decided not to take any chances. His retainer was a little steep but well worth it. The investigation was shut down a few months later and I was allowed to retire with honor and dignity.

In October of 2016 I learned I was under investigation and shortly after learned it was for two charges of sexual assault. The investigation, decisions, etc. took months and in May 2017 I was taken to an administrative discharge board. At this point in my career I had over 23 years of service and my approved retirement was cancelled until the outcome of the board. Months before the decision to go to a board I hired Michael Waddington and he worked alongside my military legal counsel. The time leading up to the board was tense and I provided whatever information I could to both of my attorneys. At times I felt no one was doing anything with the information and I would remind myself it is a slow process and things would work out eventually. Be prepared to do a lot of work yourself by seeking out people that will stand by you, get letters written, ask folks to testify, etc.
My real interaction with Michael was when he flew in for my board and began preparing. Michael presented a strong case for me and while my two accusers did not testify (not mandatory with a board), he did cross examine one “witness” and Michael kept his cool the entire time. The “witness” lost his temper, Michael smashed his creditability, and it was obvious the “witness” was lying. In addition, both of my attorneys had a game plan and knew when to object and when to let things slide. As the days passed I felt I was in good hands. Michael and my military attorney also made the prosecution look ridiculous…they found weaknesses and pounced on opportunities to show it. Part of me believes my military attorney stepped up her game because she would be working side-by-side with Michael…that is something to consider when hiring him as well. Luckily I had two great attorneys…Michael and my military counsel.
In the end I was found “not guilty.” I was falsely accused and the military/government did not care about me, did not believe me, and no matter what the accusers said the prosecution used that against me. Be ready for a low point in your life because you cannot trust anyone. I cannot speak about Michael’s performance for someone who is sincerely guilty of a crime, but in my case he helped save all the benefits that I had earned over 23 years of service.
I am now retired from active duty and thankful that I opted to hire Michael during the most stressful period of my life. I only wish I could hire him again to sue the women that falsely accused me. Sadly, there is nothing I can really do to them in this day and age. Hopefully in time those falsely accused can sue those that try to ruin their careers/lives. I still possess a lot of anger towards the military and how easily it allows false accusations to occur.
In closing, while his services do cost a lot, in the long run having him on your side may help you save money and your career in the long run. He presented a solid case, worked on it the entire time he was in town, and his opening/closing statements were well thought out. During the board he would let me know what was going on and provide honest feedback about various topics. Michael devoted all his attention during the time he was in town to ensure he gave me the best possible defense. If you find yourself in a bad situation like I was hiring Michael will give you some piece of mind. He will work for you and hopefully give you the best possible outcome for your situation.

If you don't use Mr. Waddington as your defence lawyer you are doing yourself a disservice. I could not recommend him more. I was bullied by my command and some dirty prosecutors for long enough when I hired the Gonzales Waddington firm. What a difference it made. I was finally able to sleep at night and my JAG got the message that I was not playing around. A disgruntled ex girlfriend falsely accused me and tried to destroy my life and career. CID and the military lawyers never questioned her story. They labeled me a predator and set out to put me in jail. I felt like I was facing an unwinnable battle when the prosecution called a bunch of lying witnesses and some high priced experts that never took the time to read the case file. This whole time nobody ever questioned the lying accuser or looked at her deleted texts. It was sickening. They took her word over mine no questions asked. They coached her to lie and twisted every word I said. They even tried to block the jury from hearing that we had prior sexual relations. The SVC kept objecting and trying to stop me from getting a fair trial.
When Mr. Waddington came into court the prosecutors were scared. They would not even look him in the eye. They sat there talking loudly with the SVC about me and my lawyer. I was getting mad and Mr. Waddington told me to ignore them. He said their rudeness means they are weak and intimidated. After his opening statement, they looked like children. It was entertaining to watch Mr. Waddington deflecting their objections with ease like he was toying with them. He dealt with my ex on cross in a professional way and never lost his cool. She tried to fight him but he kept asking the question until she answered. She looked like an angry liar.
The CID agent looked like a chump when he tried to explain why he did not do his job correctly. He was breaking a sweat when Mr. Waddington questioned him using his own manuals.
In their closing the prosecution portrayed me like a stalking rapist and they asked why would she lie. During his closing Mr. Waddington told a funny story about a village idiot and I did not know where he was going at first. Then he pointed at the CID agents in the audience and said they were like the village idiot blinding following whatever my lying ex said no matter what. It broke the stress and called out the truth. My ex sat in the audience and got up and stomped out of court with her SVC when Mr. Waddington laid waste to her credibility in front of a packed court during his closing. He listed reasons why she lied and then pointed out examples of her lies made in court. After a scary two hours of deliberations I was acquitted of all charges. This was the best money I ever spent.!

I hired Mike Waddington for a positive urinalysis case with an extremely low nanogram level, no evidence and a professionally reviewed report for prescribed medication. Months went by and as the Board of Inquiry date came near, it was clear that no preparation had been done except by me. I paid Mike Waddington 21,700.00$....10k was for board of inquiry prep. Mike Waddington flew in the day before to "prepare"...and that was NOT worth 10k and I paid for the travel and hotel so another $1700.00. The day of the board this Mike Waddington with all the positive reviews and reputation for aggressive defense went with submission and asking the members for mercy. This tactic did not work and resulted in a separation with an OTH, and I spent $21,700.00. Lawyers do not guarantee results but I paid for something and got nothing. It was also clear after the board when he was speechless. So unless you have a sexual assault/rape case going to a court martial...DO NOT HIRE!

I was accused of an Article 120 violation. I was interrogated by investigators for over 2 hours after I told them repeatedly that I did not do what was alleged. After that, I was "booked" and then put on hold from my current position immediately, which also prevented me from moving forward in my career and getting promoted. I was pretty much cast out of my unit and stuck in an office by myself with not much interaction from others.
I went to the military defense office immediately and was basically told that this will most likely go to court, you will have a preliminary hearing in about 6 months and then you will have a courts martial a few months after that. While I understand now that the military defense lawyer was doing his job and keeping it "real" this news of course caused me instant grief to say the least. That's when I did my research and decided to contact the Waddington & Gonzalez law firm.
I first talked to Sandra the paralegal who took my preliminary information and then put me in touch with Mrs. Waddington. She assured me that they would fight this to the bitter end and restore my name and reputation. I can honestly say, that she is VERY passionate about criminal cases and protecting her client’s innocence.
Closer to the start of trial, I was in contact with Mr. Waddington who explained his strategy to me on how he was going to fight this case. He also reached out to obtain all “evidence” and had the judge secure my witnesses who the government at first denied. This was absolutely crucial to my case and without him, I’m not sure we would of succeeded with the defense witnesses. He also took an unprecedented step by fighting the prosecutors in a way which I can’t mention, as it may identify this exact case. Let’s just say, it’s something the military lawyer was not comfortable doing, but needed to be done.
Mr. Waddington exposed the accuser for the liar and drama maker that she was. He was also able to call up witnesses to testify against her untruthfulness and back stabbing. If that doesn’t blow your mind, I’m not sure what will. Then during his closing arguments, he came up with multiple reasons and questions that the prosecution could not answer. The jury went back and deliberated for over an hour, and after they returned, the judge said, "Will the defense and accused please stand for the verdict...". The jury had reached their decision alright ….. not guilty! Thank you to my military lawyer and to the Waddington and Gonzalez law firm.

I can't exactly remember how I came across Mr. Waddington, but I watched some YouTube clippings of him and decided to set up a phone consultation. I was being charged with 4 sex crimes and 2 other felonies by the United States Army. Unbeknownst, they charged me without even having evidence back to solidify their claims; needless to say it was a witch hunt. I was at the lowest point of my career and life and ready to rollover and accept life in person and having to register as a sad oddender. Until I spoke with and hired Mr W. He demolished and embarrassed the military in the most professional of ways without even having to present witnesses or evidence other than a compelling closing argument. He fights your case as if he used to be a crooked prosecutor. He really knows the evil, corrupt and crooked games they play and the right questions they ask. He considers all scenarios and eloquently makes his arguments with more or less. He was able to get me acquitted on all of my sexual assault charges and burglary off of cross examination and thought - provoking rhetoric alone. I could only imagine what he can do when he really has to roll up his sleeves. He's really in a class of his own as far as defending sexual crimes and is worth every penny. Trust me when I say you CANNOT afford to NOT have him on your side. It's an experience I will never forget and thanks to him I can remember it as a free man.

Mr. Waddington is by far the best military lawyer anyone could ask for. I retained his services two years ago regarding a BAH fraud case that was causing me insurmountable despair and grief. After 19 years in the Army, I was about to lose everything I worked so hard for, personally and professionally. From the moment I retained his firm, they immediately got on board and took charge of my case. Mr. Waddington kept my spirits high and reassured me that he was going to do everything in his power to make sure my case would have the best possible outcome. When he was in court, Alexandria would answer any questions I had.
In the beginning he set out realistic goals of avoiding a conviction, avoiding prison, and saving my Army retirement. This thing drug on for a long time but Mr. Waddington told me that the longer it takes in this type of case, the less likely that I would get charged.
At times, I must admit, I wanted this over with more than anything else and my anxiety was sky high. He told me to stand fast so I could get over 20 years. One time, I called to complain about my situation and he reminded me that I was still a free man, I had my family, and was getting paid. He told me things could be much worse and to have patience. He was right and I appreciated the reality check.
Through his tireless work, no charges were filed and I received administrative paperwork and was allowed to retire . I am positive that without his help, I would have ended up being charged and forced into a plea deal, going to jail and losing my retirement.
I am thankful for the privilege of having him represent me. Not only did he save my career, I have my life back and my peace of mind. Thank you Mr Waddington. I would recommend him to anyone without reservation.

couldn't get a ernet early enough to tell the world how awesome, smart, and effective Michael is. I was facing three separate sexual assault charges from three different accusers over a span of 4 months. I after hiring a chicken attorney for my article 32 I figured I will be going down for a long time for a crime that I believe I didn't commit. For God to reveal Michael to me in my dream as the best sexual assault lawyer, I wasn't surprised about the icome. Micheal is smart believes his clients innocence and has various forms of approaches in the courtroom to make prosecutors look as dam asses. My prosecutors looked like trash infront of Micheal and LCDR Temple. Any victim that was called to testify was given a blood bath and at the end of the my case went from you are going down for 30years to how did they even find you guilty on charge. Yes they found me guilty on one charge but 9 months in a prison wasn't bad at all. It was rather a fruitful learning experience. I am sitting in my living room playing with my kids all because of " God Sent Michael and His hard working wife''. He even had a strategy for saving my life. And he didn't take financial advantage of me like all the other lawyers do. Some lawyer's rental car and travel cost alone can be a huge amount. But for Michael he kept everything simple and did nothing to take advantage of me. His courtroom experience trying sexual assault cases week in and week out is what you need because you will surely go down without him uld be doin 30 years at Leavenworth but I get a second chance at life with a slum dung MRE 413 legal error in the bucket. Stop what you doing take your phone and call Michael and if you are lucky enough to get your phone call answered, don't hesitate because he is your best advocate. God bless you Michael God Bless you!!! My family will always be indebted to you. Like President Trump Said, " H has a lot of experience but is bad experience''. Some lawyers have a long years of experience, but the is experience is bad in the courtroom. So if a lawyer say he is taking you to trial you better ask him when was the last time he actually tried a case a won''. Not every Military lawyer is a criminal defence attorney. You need Micheal he has a good experience and track record of winning.

I got to know Mr. Waddington quite well. He is the GOLD Standard and is one of the most humble human beings ever. His attention to detail and confidence are un paralleled. I was completely helpless for the first time in my life, facing a stacked deck. Upon retaining his representation, I took the first step in evening the odds in what he likes to call trial warfare. Every conversation I had with him gave me hope; that I stood a chance in a political driven agenda to get convictions no matter the facts or evidence. You can read every review and watch all Mr. Waddington's youtube channels and understand he is a winner and elite. One interaction I had with him was how he wanted to attack my case and he said "Lets Go to War!!" I knew right than I made the right decision. Always be honest and upfront with him and this will create opportunity for the best possible outcome. You really have to take a look in the mirror and be reasonable. I was fully acquitted of all my serious charges. I will never forget that feeling for as long as I live. Upon the announcement of the verdict I nearly collapsed. My career, my life, and my future was completely in his hands and he took it as seriously as I did. He is a warrior in the courtroom and never backs down. I highly recommend you retain his services as early as possible, don't chance it!! I will be forever grateful for his hard work and dedication in getting my life back.
