My husband and I were looking for an immigration lawyer to assist with my husband’s N-400 application while his I-751 was still in process. Due to the complexity of our case we spoke to several lawyers, but Robert was the only one who seemed genuinely interested to help. Robert was very knowledgeable... and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable from the very beginning. After a few months, my husband was scheduled for an interview to remove his conditions and test for his N-400 so we requested for a lawyer to be present with us, this is when our case was assigned to Carmen Atkins who was our appointed attorney to travel and be present in our interview. We met with Carmen over zoom a few weeks prior, she spent over an hour answering our questions and preparing us on what to expect. When we got to the interview she made us feel comfortable and was very well informed about our case. We work on cruise ships travelling in and out of United States several times per week for many months at a time; therefore, proving his continuous residency when we don’t get our passport stamp on every port was a very difficult task to do. Carmen handled our case very well, first the officer removed the conditions and approved his I-751 before proceeding with the N-400 test. After my husband passed the test the officer wanted more time to research his travel dates. A few weeks after the interview we received a letter asking for more evidence on his travel dates, Carmen put together a very complete response and it only took a couple of weeks before his case was approved. It is also important to mention Amanda Matienzo who was our paralegal and direct point of communication from the beginning of our case. Their professionalism, experience and knowledge were definitely key to the success of the outcome of our case. We would have not been able to make it without their help. My husband and I are glad to have hired such incredible team of professionals. This was definitely the best decision we could have made.
