Anthony P. Guettler is a 4th generation Floridian, and joined the firm in 2009 as a member of the Estate Planning and Tax Group. Mr. Guettler graduated first in his class from the University of Florida Warrington College of Business with a degree in Finance. Mr. Guettler subsequently earned his Juris Doctor degree, with high honors, and his graduate law degree (LL.M) in Taxation, with high honors, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
Mr. Guettler focuses his practice on estate planning, tax exempt organizations, business transactions, and corporate taxation. He has represented individuals with complex business and real estate holdings as well as owners of closely held corporations in structuring their estate plans to minimize their tax liability. Mr. Guettler has also represented financial institutions and individuals with fiduciary administration matters.
Super Lawyers names him as one of Florida’s “Rising Stars,” effectively ranking him as one of the top 2.5% of attorneys in the state who are under the age of 40 and have been practicing law for 10 years or less, as chosen by their peers and through the independent research. He also maintains an “AV” rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the largest and most comprehensive ratings document of lawyers in the world.
Mr. Guettler is the current President of the Indian River County Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division and was a past President and Vice-President of the Port St. Lucie Bar Association. He serves on the board of the Future Leaders Professional Advisors Council and is currently the Treasurer of the Treasure Coast Gator Club. He has served on the Board of Trustees for the St. Lucie County Law Library. He is currently a member of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association, the Tax Section and Real Property and Probate Section of the Florida Bar, the Planned Giving Council of Indian River, the Indian River County Bar Association and the Indian River Estate Planning Council.
