Like a lot of people in these times we fell on a rough patch. We had good credit in the mid 700's and found ourselves strapped and unable to pay our credit card payments. We ended up defaulting and Midland Credit got our debt. We were trying to work out a settlement on our own and we offered them a g...ood sum and they were trying to Nickle and dime us for about $300 more then we had. Times are tough and we just didn't have it. They took us to court. As soon as it was posted in they court system we started receiving tons of letters from lawyers. They just seem impersonal and all of them promising the moon. But the Jacobs letter caught my eye. No over the top promises, to the point, price break down. We were pretty stressed going into this but they handled everything, we didn't have to take time off for court. We have to say they made this whole process stress free.
