Ms. Henderson was amazing, especially in court. She was incredible to watch. She knew the law and the issues surrounding my divorce and completely shut down my ex-husbands attorney. My divorce was stressful and emotional and Ms. Henderson was there for me and fought hard for me and believed in me. ... Ms. Henderson got me exactly what I wanted, including child support and alimony, I am so grateful for her. I highly recommend her as an attorney and praise her to all my friends.

Maria made a great first impression. She came across as confident, aggressive and knowledgeable. Her staff and office appeared professional and on the ball. During our initial consultation, she made reference to her criminal attorney background, which was interesting, but in retrospect didn't set ...off the alarm bells it should have. In general, Maria did a reasonable job throughout most of my engagement with her. Paper work and scheduling were accomplished, efficiently. However, it quickly became evident she did not have the skills to help high net worth individuals, as she lacked the financial acumen to set us up for success. Opposing counsel continuously manipulated all financial materials to the ex's benefit and it was up to me to point out the inconsistencies and exaggerations. For example, pre and post tax accounts were intertwined to the point of artificially inflating my holdings, costing six figures in the end. The list goes on and on from there. Long story short, opposing counsel ran rings around us in the end. I think until Maria either cross functionally trains in finance and/or augments her staff with in/out sourced specialists, all high net worth individuals should stay away.
