Ive had John represent me on a few misdemeanor and traffic cases a few years ago. I wasn't able to afford much but he took my cases anyways and worked out a payment plan with me as well. I have a degree in criminal justice and also shared my interest in working and adding to my resume as well. He all...owed me to work for his office for a year answering phones, drafting documents, cleaning, getting his office organized. And I learned so much from him. Trying to jugle attorney life, visiting his grandkids, and helping people time and time again. He was blunt and sarcastic at times but he was also realistic and logical. He never over promised. He was proffessional and a caring person who would reach out to help people in need whenever possible. Great attorney!

I was facing a second degree felony and i wasn't happy with my appointed layer, but ery private lawyer i talked to was out of my price range. Mr Gillespie was expensive, but he worked out a payment plan that I was able to live with. Thank god he did, because i am now a freeman thanks to his amazing w...ork. I never plan to get in trouble again but I would highly recommend him to anyone who does.

We Hired John to get a employee out of Jail on May 9th. requested a $1000 retainer in-which we happy to pay with all these great reviews. He has not even talked to our employee, or filed any motions to help him. failed to show up for his Arraignment on May 23rd. He will charge you to text him and tha...t's all he will do for you. I tried calling & texting him and I'm being ignored. The only thing he did that we know of was to file a notice of appearance. but the court file shows Public Defender. we have been trying to get ahold of him for over a week, left messages, texts NO ANSWER. even called his office to be told they don't know where he is.

John is awesome! A friend refered me to him. He was great! My case was complicated, but not for John. I had no bond on a misdemeanor because I had fta. It was my first (and only) charge ever, I allegedly had a weed pipe, got a citation and missed court. I had to wait 42 days to see the judge. On the ...day I had court and was supposed to get time served, my judge was sick. They took me to the court house and sent me back to jail. John wasn't having this. He got me a substitute judge and got me out. He actually sent his partner, Tracey. She's a tiger. My judge was sick for two weeks. John, you rock. You would answer if I called on Sunday night. Great lawyer, even better person. I'll never call anyone else!

Mr. Gillespie was recommended to me by a friend who had used his representation in the past. My first interaction with him was when I called collect from jail and he answered, not knowing any other information other than my location and my name. He never promised me anything, other than to fight like... hell, and obviously that’s what he did. My offer was 24 months prison being as though I had shown that I couldn’t handle being in the real world with four violations of probation. Mr. Gillespie not only did a remarkable job of getting me out of jail, he did it with a 4 month jail offer that I had already served, and he did it over Christmas. while waiting for the Public Defender’s office to even to come talk about the facts of my case, I sat 2 months not knowing a thing. Within 3 days of hiring him, he was at the jail face to face talking to me, reassuring me that I was not going to prison, even though I was told that if I were to see that same judge, that I would be up the road before I could blink. I would NEVER use the services of another lawyer. John won’t promise you anything, but let his track record speak for itself. He’s a selfless individual who cares about every person he encounters.
