I was one of the legal Board members for an HOA that Ms. Stage was hired to represent at the time she was hired. I personally consulted with Ms. Stage on phone calls, received multiple certified letters from Ms. Stage operating as the Board's attorney, and exchanged emails with her over Board matters related to the recall (legal removal) of two other Board members based on a majority vote of the homeowners. After she was hired to represent the Association, Ms. Stage failed to properly represent the wishes of the majority of the HOA or the majority of Board members (her clients) in a legal recall of two Board members. Instead, Ms. Stage worked to prevent these two Board members from being removed from their Board positions. Ms. Stage filed several incorrect motions to the DBPR to deny the certification of the recall of these two Board members. The majority of the HOA and the majority of the Board were then forced to hire two separate attorneys to counter Ms. Stages misunderstanding of law and facts in the case. After many months of legal bills and filings, the state ruled against Ms. Stage and certified the recall.

I appreciate the swiftness and accuracy of her information. I wish we had more lawyers like her in this world. She took the time to answer a question for me without asking for a credit card up front. If I am ever in need of an attorney or know of anyone who needs one I will 100% recommend her. Thank you for your reply.

Barbara went out of her way to guide me in the right direction with regards to an HOA dispute. Her advice was sound and she is absolutely an expert in her field. I would not hesitate in recommending her services for anyone needing a real estate attorney.

I had a question on HOA lease fee transfers and she did not only offered advice but also sent me a link to the law that relates to it and then followed up. She's extremely helpful. I certainly am keeping her in mind if I cannot resolve the issue with the HOA. My only problem is that I am in Cooper City, FL, but she may still be able to handle it or point me in the right direction, I'm sure. Thank you so much!

We were not able to hire Attorney Barbara billiot Stage. However, We did get to confer with Her regarding Our HOA Foreclosure problem...She gave Us a couple of options to explore and She did say that She couldn't personally handle Our specific needs. She guided Us toward the right direction. She was very knowledgeable about HOA issues and graciously offered Her advice to Us. Thank You Ms. Stage for Your time and help.

I had questions about the HOA restricting owners about rentals. She answered my questions and quoted law to back up her answers. If our HOA amends the Declaration or tries to enforce the restrictions, Barbara Stage is the only attorney I will be seeking.

Just happened to email Barbara because of some questions related to an ongoing issue with an HOA hasseling me 5 years after turning over house in a Chap 7. I am out of state and had some questions. Barbara was quick to respond however not sure she could help me. If Barbara is an expert in Foreclosures and dealing with HOA's, give her a call because it's almost impossible to find someone that will go Head to Head with an HOA attorney who represents the HOA. They are brutal to deal with and can careless about you. Get representation sooner than later! Call Barbara and see if she can assist you.
