Hi Walter my question to you is my daughter is blind and disabled since birth and the SSI had send me a notice of overpayment. I do t understand why. She had under her resources if $2000.00 that an individual supposed to have. I think it’s the direct deposit that made her have over her resources and ...if they were to check the daily balances they would see she was under her allowed resources that she can have. I asked for a waiver because I don’t think that my daughter owes the SSI anything because her resources were under the amount. So my question to you is would I approach this situation and allow them to see that she wasn’t over paid as they allegedly say she was . I think there charging her the overpayment because I couldn’t get to the bank the day of the direct deposit hit her account and it only sat in her account for one or two days and I think there charging her all of her monthly payments she receives. So how would I approach this situation and show them that they are definitely in the wrong on implying that my daughter was over paid. Thank you Walter
