Disappointing

Hiring David Roberts was a mistake. His firm rarely communicated with me except to ask for more money. In court he allowed the opposing attorney to run circles around him. He rarely objected, and never challenged the falsehoods presented by the other party. I had a temporary injunction against me... and Dave negotiated with the opposing attorney to make the injunction permanent in exchange for getting me supervised visitation, which never happened. He then failed to file for contempt for the opposition's non-compliance. I spent most of the time with him waiting for him to do something, or forking over more money for no results. Eventually I was forced to go with a different attorney.

Horrible Representation

I hired Mr. Roberts for time sharing and child support modification. I was looking for someone who was aggressive and would fight for me. I was gravely disappointed. In all, the process took over 2 years and upwards of 50K in attorney's fees. In fact , I repeatedly asked about the on going fees and... the unnecessary exorbitant expenses associated with my case.. I was told to obtain a sizable loan or find another lawyer. Ultimately, I ended up pro se’. I couldn’t afford the on going cost and lack of representation. Mr Roberts was more concerned about the toothpaste on his lapel than knowing the facts about my case. All of which is surprising considering he charged me over 112 times to “ review my file”. In a family matter case, you are looking for someone to understand your position and fight for you. Neither happened. In fact, Mr Roberts lack of detail resulted in me having to pay the opposing attorney attorneys fees when all Mr Roberts had to do was file a protective order on my behalf. Despite Mr. Robert's years of experience, he seemed to have limited knowledge on some issues and lacked any perceived desire to aggressively represent me.

Page said free consultation called and they want $500

Not a good way to start off a potential relationship with clients. First thing they do is offer a $500 consultation fee. Why say that its free if its not free.
