Grateful for a Lawyer like Corey

I was issued a federal citation for destroying government property from an auto accident. I was extremely anxious as I had never been in a car accident, let alone been issued a federal citation. It took several calls to other law offices (because I had no clue what kind of lawyer I was looking for) b...efore a legal aide recommended Corey Cohen for federal cases. I was beyond relieved when I spoke with Corey on the phone, explained what the citation was, and he calmly reassured that it would get worked out. I was issued a court date, appearance mandatory, but then Covid-19 hit and my court date kept getting pushed back. Corey was easily available over phone or email in answering questions. In the end, Corey was able to talk with the prosecutor before the court date and get the charges dropped completely. I cannot thank Corey and his team enough for answering all my questions, putting in the time and effort to review my case, and working on getting everything cleared with the court.

**Corey Cohen & team deserve so much more than 5 stars** Every conversation with Corey was professional, compassionate, understanding, and not once was I judged me for my choices or my actions. He took every conversation seriously, went absolutely above and beyond to calm my nerves – all while rem...aining extremely transparent and honest. Not once did I feel like I was facing this on my own - Corey & his team were consistently and readily available to answer questions whether they directly pertained to my case or not. Financially, they were accommodating and made sure I could manage my court costs/legal fees from the beginning all the way to the sealing process. They offered customizable payment options and explained every cost before accepting payment. I also need to specifically thank and recognize Rachel, Corey's Office Manager. In every interaction (and there were many of them!), Rachel displayed the upmost level of respect and professionalism. She is empathetic, authentic, and her patience has given me an ease over the past few years I didn’t know I was able to find in a legal team. She is 100% an essential part of Corey’s team and I will forever be grateful for the part she has played in my life and how much energy she has put towards not only ensuring I understand every step of this process, but also that my life can’t be further impacted by this incident. Corey’s the best!

Corey is by far the best attorney I’ve ever had. He is quick, diligent & honest. I always recommend him to all of my homies who need legal help. Removed my HTO and suspension

A few months ago I was deemed a Habitual Traffic Offender (HTO) by the state of Florida for getting a 3rd Drivers License suspension within 5 years. All of my suspensions were due to insurance lapses when I faced financial hardships. I never knew Florida had a law that would take away your license fo...r 5 years if you obtain a 3rd suspension until I actually received the 3rd suspension. Once my license was taken away I was immediately affected. Lost out on job opportunities. Constantly late to work due to having to take public transportation and was at risk of being fired. Not knowing where to turn for help I googled traffic lawyers and I emailed every lawyer that showed up on the 1st page of Google and explained my situation. Corey called,emailed and text me all within that same hour. Every other lawyer I contacted didn't reach back out to me until late that day or the next day and some didn't contact me back at all. Corey researched my DMV records and told me his Plan of Action to get my drivers license back and help get back on the road again. I met with him the following day in person and signed off with him. He got to work for me the same day by filing a motion. A week later he represented me in court for my case and got my most recent ticket dismissed. In between that time the motion he filed for me was granted. It was the best news I received in months just knowing that he lifted a huge weight off my shoulders because I'll be getting my license back soon thanks to his work. To top eveything off I received an email from him today informing me that the 2nd motion he filed for me was granted also! I never knew he filed a 2nd motion for me so it felt like a big bonus on top of everything else he did for me! Thanks to Corey I'll be back on the road again soon and my life can get back to normal! I highly recommend Corey to anyone that is facing any kind of driving/ticket issues like I was! Thank you Corey!
