In times of disparity don’t make a desperate decision make the “RIGHT” one

Unfortunately over the past two years I have found myself in a number of legal issues. I will never forget the first consultation I had with Mr. Cohen. Getting straight to the point with everything he went as far as directly contacting the prosecutor in my presence assuring me that he would get every...thing taken care of. My first case with him included a second offense DUI and second case three felony charges with one misdemeanor. Anytime I had questions emails were answered within a very timely manner. All third-degree felonies were dropped and pled to two misdemeanor charges with adjudication withheld! It doesn’t stop there the second DUI reduced to reckless driving. Never once should you question the reliability or knowledge of your private attorney, expect nothing but top-notch representation when you hire Mr. Cohen and his law firm. Finding myself yet in another pickle and picked up on a warrant. While incarcerated my mother grabbed the phone and knew exactly who to call! With no surplus of funds for unplanned emergencies Mr. Cohen took the case without hesitation and made a very practical affordable payment plan for us. Mistakes in life are made, learn from them never let them define you and always progress in life there is a light at the end of every tunnel. Mr.Cohen gets the best results when mistakes are made just don’t make the same mistake twice because at that point it’s no longer a mistake it’s a decision. I am writing this review as he’s handling another case for me which may have to go to trail. However I cannot wait to get back on avvo to write another review about his unmatched unparalleled representation! Words can not be orchestrated to show how thankful we are for Mr.Cohen and his team! Best attorney, Best staff, Best results

Thankfully, I hired Attorney Corey Cohen and his incredible team to help me with two charges, possession of a controlled substance(felony) and possession of less than 29 grams of cannabis(misdemeanor). The state came back with offers that wouldn't be a viable option...drug court, probation, etc. Mr. ...Cohen did not accept the offers from the state, and proceeded with a trial scheduling. Prior to getting to the court house, a team member called to check on me and ease my mind. When I arrived at the court house, I was greeted by Mr. Cohen, and he promptly put my mind at ease. In his hand, was an offer to do 50 hrs of community service, and pay a very nominal amount to the court. Under those terms, the felony would be entirely dropped and they would withhold adjudication on the misdemeanor. I could not have asked for a better outcome. If you are in search of an attorney, you'd be making a mistake by choosing anyone else. Not only is Corey Cohen very professional, skilled and gets results, but he has built a team in his office that clearly shows everyone loves their job. This ensures you are working with a staff that wants to help you and will go out of their way to ensure you never feel alone or scared. I was injured during the process and Corey and his staff not only helped me with my legal issues, but also made sure that I was able to afford to take care of myself instead of demanding money from me. I am forever grateful to Mr. Cohen and his entire staff for everything, and I can genuinely say not only have I never been disappointed, but I've been thoroughly impressed and constantly astonished by their ability to 'get things done'.

He gets the job done.

I recently found myself in a domestic violence case in which I was charged with aggravated assault with a weapon; I was facing fifteen years. As someone who has never been in trouble, I was not aware of which steps to take in defending myself. Immediately after my consultation with Mr. Cohen, I knew ...he was the lawyer for me. He was attentive , listened to my concerns but more importantly reassured me that he could easily be reached...And sure enough, Mr. Cohen kept his word! He worked diligently on my case and kept me in the loop. Since this was the first time ever that I had been in trouble, I was quite anxious and overwhelmed, however Mr. Cohen would immediately put me at ease. Not only was Mr. Cohen able to keep his word but he was able to have my case dropped in a little over two weeks! Mr. Cohen far exceeded my expectations and I cannot thank him enough! If ever you find yourself on the opposite side of the law, run to Corey Cohen.

Absolutely the Best

Choosing a lawyer who understands your situation is fundamental, but choosing one who is not only understanding, but accomplishes the desired results is king. That is who Cory is. When I first called the law office of Cory I Cohen, I was very distraught, but Cory soon put my fears at rest by assu...ring me that he will do the best job he possibly can representing me. My case was one of criminal nature, so of course there is always that fear, especially when you are wrongly charged. Rachel further reassured me that I do not need to worry because that is reason why I hired them, so I am to leave the worrying to them. That statement was very reassuring. Rachel, his legal assistant along with Cory explained the whole case process to me, as matter of fact, Rachel kept me abreast with the development of the case each step of the way; plus the way in which she explained the proceedings was simple enough for anyone to understand. Any questions or concerns I have were always addressed in an efficient, courteous, respectful manner. Oh! may I just say that if they mention that they will call you back at a certain time, be ready to take that call at given time. One can sense their level and expertise and professionalism the moment the conversation begins. His fees are very reasonable too. If experience, effective communication, professionalism, and positive results are qualities you consider when choosing an attorney, then, Cory I Cohen is the perfect choice. Rachel is such a gem. She has the most positive attitude, pleasant personality and she is extremely knowledgeable. Thanks a million is not enough to express my gratitude to Cory and team for taking me through the storm and getting my case dismissed. I can now continue with my life and concentrate on my studies.

If you want the best around

I had a case I thought couldn't be fixed in my favor because we all know our word against the word of officers is nearly impossible to prove,but Corey found a way.I wish I could give all the details but can't.all I can say your not going to find another p.a. around for the money that has knowledge of... the law,the respect and fear from from prosecutors,respect from judges,and his ability to see through and defend you especially when the police have slammed you with charges that are not only over reaching but even lies.we all know the judge is going to want to side with the police,jurors also.he never left me hanging on even 1 concern. I had during my ordeal,he always returned my emails or calls promptly and never gives you false hope to take your money selling you dreams.he's honest and will work hard for you I can attest to that.I had a serious case that the best the state would do is around 8 year doc deal at final offer,I walked away with the state dropping all charges.I've known Corey since 15 years ago when I used him on a v.o.p while everyone else in court with me went to d.o.c that day I went home.I promise you will not find another attorney of his experience,staff or caliber and knowledge of the law around without spending 6 figures. I could go on and on.I even used him to represent my son after we tried to get him help with a drug issue and the police instead of helping my son when my wife not thinking got the police to help my son get treatment but they arrested him for possession of 5 dollars worth of pot and a Xanax when we tried to marchman act him for help and when they showed up and surprised my teenage son and searched him and found it in his pocket and instead of taking him for help arrested him,Corey also took care of my son but many others I've referred to him over the years.if your looking for a attorney to aggressively fight your case and even if you can't afford the full amount up front will take payments that you can afford,I promise this man is the man to hire.he knows the state prosecutors and judges and is highly respected because they know he's dilligant on each case but knows the law very well.if your in trouble and want the best outcome for your case he's the attorney you want.he will not take your money,ignore your calls and put your case to the side,I promise.if you hire him you will see.I'm telling you from my own personal experience the representation,experience,compassion,the way you'll be treated by him and his staff,and his knowledge of the law,if your not having the result of the charges being dropped you will at a minimum get the best defense you can get,I honestly don't believe you can find a personal attorney of his caliber without spending six figures. If I ever in life was charged with a crime again I pray he's still around,he's the first and only attorney I would ever use again.thanks Corey for everything you have done for me and my family.to possible future clients if you don't believe what I say research him on net and you tube and I recommend doing the same to any other firm your thinking of hiring besides him because you will see where I'm coming from.thanks again Corey j.g and family
