Best representation

I made the mistake of getting myself into trouble with my former employer and the law. I put my family unnecessarily in harms way. I had never been in any type of trouble before in my life. I was worried, stressed and didn't know what was going to happen to me and how it was going to affect my fam...ily. I called Corey Cohen's office and the first thing was Martina calming you down and making you feel like you were family. She kept reassuring that all would be okay and Mr.Cohen would do all possible to help. Mr. Cohen was amazing....kept in touch via email during nights and weekends to answer any questions I may have had. The outcome was the best considering what it could have been. I appreciate all Mr.Cohen did for me and my family and would use him again in a heartbeat. I would recommend Mr.Cohen to any and everyone if they want to receive the very best representation should they ever get themselves into an unfortunate situation.

Red light ticket

First I have to let everyone know that I was a real client of Mr.Cohen. I hired Mr. Cohen the first time for a red light ticket after I read so many great great reviews on him. Mr. Cohen was just what everyone else were saying about him. He is very kind, knowledgeable and his staffs as superb. ...I won my ticket then ended up having another one and another and with the help of Mr. Cohen, I have won all my red light tickets. I then hired Mr. Cohen for my husband's traffic violation and Mr. Cohen was able to get him out of that situation too. Look, Mr Cohen has been such a great blessing to me and I am sure he will be for you as well.

One of my better decisions

OK, first off, disclaimer - I'm a real former client of Mr. Cohen. Got it? Cool. I got myself into a mess - I'm an almost always peaceful guy that got a domestic violence battery charge. Yeah, I made a mistake. I went the route of a public defender, and they were able to negotiate the following...: 12 months probation($60/month), 12 months GPS monitor ($150/month), 6 months of classes ($100/month), and some community service hours with a token insurance fee. On top of all of that, the court would adjudicate me guilty, and domestic violence - battery is not a seal able offense. I decided to lawyer up. I spent the whole day on this very website looking into different attorneys and sending out inquiries. Mr. Cohen was the first to respond to me, about 15 minutes after I sent one to him... this was around 8:30 pm on a Sunday night. We had a brief conversation about the facts of the case and fees, etc, and I felt comfortable hiring his services. Let me just say, I am grateful that I did. Mr. Cohen was able to get the charge reduced to disorderly conduct, and in addition, convinced the state attorney to withhold adjudication - meaning, the charge can be sealed. He dropped the probation from 12 months to 6, the classes stayed, and I learned a lot, no community service, GPS monitor came off at sentencing. He saved me a lot of money, and got me a better deal for my future employment opportunities. To summarize, Mr. Cohen, and his staff, Martina and Tatiana are exactly what you need if you are dealing with the weight of the criminal justice system. I really don't plan on ever crossing the law again, but if it should happen for whatever reason, I will hire Mr. Cohen again and lawyer up immediately.

Happy I chose the right lawyer to defend me!

Let me start by saying that I feel so blessed that I found Corey and he was able to represent me on such short notice. I called plenty of lawyers to see if they could help resolve my situation and all of them wanted very high rates and wouldn’t even tell me what they would try to do to help my case w...hich I really wanted to know considering the fact that if I didn’t hire an experienced lawyer that knew what they were doing and knew what advice to give me I could have ended up with a felony charge that would have ruined my life, white collar crime charges can not be sealed, and if I would have plead guilty to that charge 23 counts would have showed on my record for life no erasing. When I talked to other lawyers before I called Corey's office I felt like they were in it for the money or they didn’t have enough time to hear my story and they were trying to over charge me with no promise that they could even help my situation. When I called Corey's office I talked to his assistant Martina and she got all my information and gave me a time for when Corey would call me over the phone. When I talked to Corey about my case he listened to me and then he told me exactly what he would do if he were in my shoes and came up with a game plan of what he would do if I were to hire him as my lawyer something that NO other lawyer would tell me with out hiring them. When I got off the phone with Corey I felt relieved, excited, finally After weeks/hours of searching for the right lawyer I knew I couldn’t pass Corey up and had to make him my legal representation on this case. I hired him a couple of days later and days later my situation was resolved I didn’t have to plead guilty to a white collar crime charge and instead he was able to negotiate a lesser charge that I can seal later. I feel so much better I chose the correct representation because my prior representation couldn’t get me as good of a deal as he was able to. Wow how amazing I thought I was going to have to take my case to trial and risk possibly going to prison for 15 years if I was found guilty but instead Corey fixed everything with out me even having to worry about any prison time and now I know later down the road at least I can get my charge sealed and get the second chance that I know I deserve. I hope I never have to use his services for anything else, If I do I know that he is a talented lawyer with all the right connections who truly cares about his clients and I wont hesitate to give his office a ring I also want to say that he has an exceptional staff who doesn’t judge you they treat you like family. Starting with Martina the first staff member you see when you walk in to his office, she really has an awesome personality and showed me that she also cares about Corey’s clients and that she has a big heart!! If you need a lawyer that will work hard to get your case resolved call Corey Cohens office. I highly recommend Corey Cohens to not just my family and friends but to all of central Florida that needs legal representation.

DUI

Corey and his office team were so kind and helpful during this stressful time for me. Not once did I feel like I was just another number in his database. Would hire again if needed in the future.
