I was hit by a lady and needed surgery/therapy. I did not have medical insurance. Klausman went above and beyond to take care of my settlement. He explored all options and strategically chose the best. He even won a final case against the hospital for an unjust bill for a person without medical... insurance. If you check courthouse filings, you will see it is extremely rare that a lawsuit is filed against a hospital over the amount of my low(er) hospital bill. Most attorneys would have just paid the small amount the hospital was willing to accept, rather than taking the time to prepare and file a lawsuit to litigate the amount of the hospital bill. My opinion was the amount offered from the hospital was excessive. He provided the caselaw (many) and relied upon to the hospital attorneys. He had multiple discussions with the attorneys and ultimately the hospital decided the cost of defending their bill and the possibility they would lose resulted in their accepting our offer. In the end, my hospital bills were paid for, I was handled with care and I got a large settlement... All I was responsible for was focusing on getting better. I am beyond grateful.
