My collection nightmare began a year ago. Over the span of a year, I have paid a national credit repair company, internet credit guru and filed a police report to try and get a bogus collection removed, all to no avail. I found an article written by Alex in regards to statute of limitations and how... they are misinterpreted by the masses. I decided to send him an email with my contact info and he reached out to me the following day. After about 3 weeks, we had an agreement with the collection agency and a letter stating once I upheld the terms that Alex negotiated they would remove the item completely from all three bureaus. I can gladly say ... My credit is back in the 700s
