The best attorney I know!!!!

Jim is the best lawyer that I have ever had hands down!!!! I was in very serious trouble facing up to life in prison which is utterly ridiculous. My ex husband’s wife accused me of hitting her and pushing her door open. They charged me with burglary with assault. I went to trial and was found not gui...lty. He is not afraid to go to trial; you can tell he actually likes going to trial. Jim is an extraordinary trial lawyer with so much valuable experience. His closing argument was absolutely superb!!!! He was charismatic and funny! He was actually likable and the prosecutor definitely was not!!! Jim is so confident in the courtroom, and well respected in the law community!!!! Look up his voluntter work and reviews on AVVO because it is highly impressive. In addition, His prices are extremely fair!!! He is an attorney who actually listens and takes time with his clients. Every time I had an appointment he always made me feel better about the case and believe me I was terrified! He never once made me feel rushed in the office or on the phone. I would recommend him to anyone and that is rare for me. Do not hesitate to hire Jim. He treats his clients like they are his children!!! Look no further if you or your loved ones need a top notch criminal attorney. A++++++

Honest and upfront!

Mr. Barnes does not fit the stereotype given to most attorneys! He is honest and truly cares about his potential clients! When I visited him for a consultation, he took the time to answer ALL of my questions and explained the likely outcome compared with similar cases. At the end of my consultation, ...he stated that “I was a smart man” and he did not want to take my money for something I could do myself. He then proceeded to inform me exactly the steps he would take if I had retained him. It is not ALL about $$$ with him, he is a true professional and has a passion for helping those in need!

Knowledgeable, Professional, Excellent Attorney

Mr. Barnes did an excellent job of defending me in my criminal case. He worked very hard to prove my innocence and succeeded in averting a trial. Through his efforts, my felony charge was downgraded to a misdemeanor and prevented any adverse consequences to my career and personal life.
