Highly professional and effective attorney

I was referred to Mr. Barnes by a friend who had a similar case to mine, who had received great results. Jim was highly professional and consultative, and advised me on the best way to proceed which ended with my case getting dismissed. A great Attorney

When looking for a criminal defense attorney, I highly recommend Mr. James Barnes. He genuinely cares for all people and their right to a fair representation. Best criminal defense attorney in Northwest Florida

I was charged with a felony I didn't commit. Jim listened to me intently during our consultation and was able to get my case dismissed before I knew it. If you're scared like I was, he will calm your fears and take care of you throughout the process. Hire James Barnes, he's the best!

Superb Attorney

I along with my spouse hired Mr. Barnes on behalf of my grandson who was charged with a Battery on a Person 65 or Older, a 3rd Degree Felony. The person alleged to have been assaulted was my spouse of more than 40 years and it did not happen. Prior to hiring Mr. Barnes I spoke with a close family me...mber who is the Trial Chief for the Public Defender's Office in a major metropolitan city. I was provided a list of qualities that I along with my spouse should look for in a attorney prior to making a decision to hire one for my grandson. A few of those qualities were: 1. Criminal Law Experience. Ck - 30 plus years; 2. Connection to Local Community. Ck - Long Time Resident of Northwest Florida; 3. Caring and Understanding. Ck; 4. Good Communication Skills. Ck.. 5. Willingness to listen. Ck; Compassion for clients. Ck.. After meeting with Mr. Barnes we made a decision to hire him for my grandson and my grandson was in agreement that Mr. Barnes was the right choice. Mr. Barnes was able to convince the State Attorney to announce a Nolle Prosequi with respect to the charge against my grandson. My family and I are thankful that Mr. Barnes accepted my grandson's case and grateful that he was able to convince the State Attorney to resolve the case in the manner it was resolved. Additionally, we're thanking Mr. Barnes' Paralegal Elizabeth Broome. We would highly recommend Mr. Barnes to anyone seeking legal representation in a criminal case.
