ABSOLUTLY WOULD HIRE AGAIN!!!!!

I know how hard it is to put your trust in someone you don't know. Especially when they are litterally holding your life in their hands. I would be lying if I said I didn't have those exact same fears when I started the search for an attorney to not only defend me but to believe me! Mr. Barnes was no...t like the other attorneys I spoke to....I know this sounds strange but all the lawyers I had consultaions with made me feel like they didn't believe a word I was saying and that I wasn't worth their time. One lawyer actually yawned 3X in my face while I told him my situation!!!!! Not the best feeling in the world! When I spoke with Mr. Barnes he actually listened to me, took notes, asked me questions, made calls to police station! He made me feel like I was his only concern! So I went with my gut and hired him and am so grateful I did! He got my case dropped and fought tooth and nail til he did! He is a hard working lawyer who when he says he will take care of it.......trust that he will!!! Thank you Mr. Barnes for giving me my life back! I will recommend you to anyone who is having any criminal issues! Thanks again!

State Attorney, consider yourself warned

Barnes shakes trees and rattles cages and remains cool calm and Collective! I was going up for a mandatory minimum of 14 months. His sharp appearance and sharp mind amazingly not only had my felony charge dropped but I was off of drug court and 3 year felony probation by the end of the day. He isn't... just paperwork and textbook guidelines,he gets in the courtroom and the stage lights come on. He is like watching a courtroom Symphony. Smooth-talking and on his toes, he demanded the attention of the courtroom. Drug court seems to have its own laws. The whole court is a team and is one-sided. If State Attorney wants blood, it's apparent the judge gives it to her. I have seen too many people go to prison 4 reasons that are unjust. The State Attorney stood no chance against Barnes he demanded reasoning and he wanted answers. I would imagine the judge new that Barnes would take this is far as he had to. He definitely gives that impression to you and to the courtroom. Charm weaponized, truly it felt like something out of a John Grisham novel. I am so amazed and grateful for what Barnes did for me. It is worth everything to know that your attorney is there for you and is truly fighting for you instead of trying to make his wallet fat. With Barnes, all uncertainties about lawyers go out the window. You can feel safe and rest assured that you have the right man in your corner! Thank you counselor! My family and I are indebted to you

Excellent attorney

I hired James Barnes and he did exactly whata lawyer should do...He listens, and fought the case to the best if his knowledge and his office was nice also! Thank you for everything you have done for us!

Unbelievably good result using Mr. Barnes

Due to some bad decisions on my part I was facing some prison time. With persistence, Mr. Barnes was able to use his knowledge of procedures and willingness to fight, if necessary, to reduce incarceration time to much lower than the recommended minimum; obtaining this result over the quite vocal ob...jection of the Prosecuting Attorney. A Hugh debt of gratitude is owed James Barnes from myself and my family.

Would highly recommend

Mr. Barnes is an excellent attorney. He accomplished what he set out to do; win the case. He knows his business, set goals and gave it his utmost to do what was best for my family. He was our attorney in a criminal defense case. I highly recommend him. He is very professional and personable.
