I was born and raised in small country town in Central Florida. After graduating from Leesburg H.S., Leesburg, FL, I attended Florida State University. While at Florida State I interned for the Florida Senate and the Florida House of Representatives. I graduated cum laude in 2007 with a B.S. in political science and a triple minor in history, religion, and political philosophy. I subsequently moved to Jacksonville, FL to attend Florida Coastal School of Law where I graduated in 2010. I successfully passed the bar and was sworn in as an attorney in October 2010.
In my spare time I enjoy running, reading, and cooking. I am an active member of St. Johns Episcopal Cathedral in downtown Jacksonville. I am also an Adjunct Professor at Florida State College of Jacksonville where I teach litigation and family law.
