Worth the time and effort - Prayer works

I met William when he was working at his previous law firm. Now, he has his own private practice. My husband had some tough immigration issues. William took the time to review our case and after hearing all the information, he agreed to assist my husband and me. He took his time and effort to ass...ist my family. For his due diligence, I am eternally grateful. He is one of the good guys. He gives lawyers everywhere a great name. Thanks to him, my family is on the way to reunification! I would recommend him to anyone. So, if you need a great immigration attorney, hire William. Trust me; you will be happy you did!

VERY GOOD IMMIGRATION ATTORNEY

I have been up and down with my immigration issues for the past 10 months with a previous attorney, I was never 100% happy with him because he was never available when I needed him. In November of 2011 I was asked to buy a one-way ticket to leave the United states and go back to my home country. My h...usband and I decided to find a new attorney and I found William. Since the first time I met him he was very humble, reassuring, responsive and knowledgeable. He basically sat me down and talked me through my issues and he gave me a piece of mind that he was going to do the best he can to keep me in the country. In just 2 months he got my approval from homeland security to file for a work permit. I am very happy because I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful kids, and because of William I am able to stay in the country and be with my family. Another thing that made me very comfortable with William is that he was always there when I needed to talk to him, and his staff was just as friendly. Overall William is a great attorney and I am very happy to have hired him.

William was assigned my case late in the process by his previous employer. Until that point, my satisfaction with my representation was extremely low. I felt like my case got pushed to the side and it was very difficult to get straight answers from the attorney assigned to my case. When William ...took over, he was incredibly responsive and knowledgeable about my case and the laws pertaining to it. He attended an immigration interview with me in Tampa which put me at ease for a very important and stressful meeting. Overall I was very satisfied with the service William provided to me and my family. I will not only recommend him to anyone seeking his services, but I will definately contact him when my time comes to apply for United States Citizenship.

Bad Experience

I think I was deported because how Mr. Cavanaugh represent my case. After I hire him he never meet with me accept for in court. He was late for court and not prepared. The immigration judge got mad at him because he did not file the right papers. I think it would have been better if he talked about m...y wife and kids but he did not. I am not sure he remembered I had kids. I choose him because he seemed to care but after I pay him he never seemed to have time for me.

I honestly do not recall any such instance where I was late, unprepared, filed something incorrectly and "got the judge mad". This doesn't sound characteristic of my legal representation. I do my best for all of my clients, and I always prepare them ahead of time, not just meet with them in court. That being said, I am an aggressive attorney and do not shy away from tough cases. Taking difficult cases means that you cannot be successful 100 percent of the time. Many factors go into whether a case is won or lost, and not all come down to the attorney. What I do know is I strive to provide honest and zealous legal representation for all of my clients. And I have had a lot of positive outcomes over the years in cases I have handled. I understand your frustration, and wish I could comment more but I simply cannot recall such an instance where this actually happened.

Office doesn't provide info even about the general price of visa representation.

Office doesn't provide info even about the general price of basic none complicated by other factors visa document revision and representation. Terrible communication. Staff clueless. Considering that an overseas caller trying to find out about particular easy case of fiancé visa representation , ...the price of the procedure is vital. this ttorney's office couldn't give me any info regarding the price for that particular work and wanted to charge me 50$ just for getting that info from the attorney himself (basically to find out the price you would need to schedule the meeting with this attorney who you have no idea if you want to help you yet and if you can afford it so he can inform you himself how much it is). There are no email free price consultation, no info about the prices at all. Every respected attorney should have before hand price range info available for a potential customer. Not neccessarily exact but rounded up price, plus the info on what makes the price go higher. In a simple case such as reviewing the documents for fiancé visa and representing the couple the price should be visible and that is just a standard. Unless attorney wants to play the price based on go is applying... Richer poorer... And based on how much he can get for the same job. I think this is not clean and fair. And would rather spent my money on an honest attorney with no hidden prices but all up front. But you decide for yourself...

This caller was extremely rude to my staff. Also didn't want to leave a name or call back number. Not every attorney discusses fees over the phone and especially doesn't have their receptionist give that info out. Many factors related to the case determine the fee. What this caller might consider "simple" might end up being far from it depending on a variety of factors (which the caller did not want to give out). We are very fair with our fees and do not price based on "richer or poorer" as this caller suggests. This caller didn't even want to disclose any personal information, not even a name and contact number where I could return the call or give more insight as to my fees. I am a very honest attorney and being that this person has never even so much as spoken to me in person, I think this review was uncalled for and clearly misleading.
