I am a Jacksonville native. I have lived here all of my life except for seven great years in Gainesville attending the University of Florida. I moved back right after graduation from law school and have resided in the San Marco area ever since. My law firm is also located in San Marco.
My personal interests include MLB, especially the American League games, Gator football, golf, WWII history, backgammon, tennis, the greatest rock band: Pearl Jam, and NASCAR races.
On the professional side, I enthusiastically practice criminal defense and have a busy family law practice. I have regularly practiced in both areas since I became licensed in 2001. The Harris Guidi Rosner law firm has been my home since 2007. There are 11 attorneys in the firm who, collectively, practice in many areas of the law, such as personal injury cases, automobile accidents, medical malpractice, workers compensation, social security disability, traffic tickets, drivers license issues, longshore, commercial and corporate litigation, appeals, and many other types of cases. Prior to this firm, I worked with a small law firm in Callahan for seven years.
I have a dog named Dexter and a young nephew named Brock who loves skateboarding and can almost fly when he skates in and out of empty pools and over ramps. Most of my family resides here in town. My father relocated to North Carolina several years ago to enjoy his retirement, residing 5 minutes away from a beautiful golf course surrounded by mountains.
Practicing law is the best job in the world. I enjoy it immensely. Every day is different. Each client is treated as a person, is unique, and is trying to overcome whatever problems he or she is experiencing. That is when I come into their lives. My job is to mitigate the trouble, to alleviate the obstacles to a productive life, and ease their way into the next chapter of their lives.
