I recently became employed with the Law Office of David M. Goldman.  When you hire B. Elaine Jones to represent you, you get B. Elaine Jones.  I make myself fully accessible to you and charge reasonable rates for the services I provide.  I am a native of Tampa Bay being born in Tampa, Florida in 1959.  I went to high school at H. B. Plant High and attended Hillsborough Community College and University of South Florida for my undergraduate degrees.  Prior to attending law school, I held a degree as a paralegal and worked in a local law firm.  I do all of the legal work on your case this allows me to offer my services for a reasonable fee.  In November of 2020, I decided to take a position at the Law Office of David M. Goldman.  

The areas of law in which I provide advice are:  Family Law, Criminal Law, Small Business, Wills, Trusts and Probate, Employment law and Personal Injury.  Most initial consultations are free and are done via telephone or GoToMeeting.

Hired Elaine for a divorce in 2014. She was very professional and kept the lines of communication going through all phases of the process. She really cared about what happened to me and did her job thoroughly. Reasonable rates and kept great records. Explained the law to me when I would make suggestions or wanted something to happen so we wouldn't waste our time or could get something done. Will end up hiring her again if needed for child support re-evaluation and if anything else comes up with my Ex.

Ms . Jones is really great! She helped me obtain co Guardianship for my son. She is very professional but down to earth. And she went above and beyond to help me meet my needs. She helped me understand every little thing and was there when ever I needed her. If I ever need another attorney/ lawyer again , she will be the first person I would call and hire for sure!!! We hired Ms. Jones to represent us in an administrative hearing regarding our request for a downward child support modification. Although we did not have the outcome that we hoped for, that was not due to our legal representation. Often people judge the success of their attorney by whether they got what they WANTED during a hearing however it may not be what you are LEGALLY ENTITLED to. Ms. Jones provided us with reasonable expectations and was honest/straightforward in explaining the difference between WANT and LEGALLY ENTITLED to. We would definately recommend her. Thank you.
