Proudly fighting to protect constitutional rights since 2006
I am passionate about protecting our constitutional rights. To me it is a partnership with you. I guide you through each step of the process. First, the investigation stage. This involves gaining a through familiarity with the facts of the case, I interview witnesses, visit locations, and review police and investigative reports.
Through this investigative process I get to know the case and am then able to apply legal defenses to fighting the charges against you. It is at this stage when I attack the state's evidence. This involves extensive research of the law to apply defensive theories and to attack the state’s case. Whether through motions to suppress seized items for 4th Amendment violations, or motions to suppress statements for 5th Amendment violations, by eliminating the State's evidence the job of convicting you becomes that much harder. In what is called motion practice, I will research and file additional motions to advance our defense and stymie the State’s case.
Through these stages I am prepared and readying for trial. It is a willingness to go to trial which strengthens bargaining position in plea negotiations. If indeed your case goes to trial, I am prepared to try your case to ensure your rights are vindicated. I have tried dozens of cases to jury trial verdict.
Please contact my office if you are charged with either state or federal charges. We can discuss your legal options and begin preparing your defense. I offer a free consultation as well as payment plans to ensure you can afford the defense to which you are entitled.
