Doug's a Slug

The guy's a bum. I struggle to refer to him as an attorney. He started the work but didn't finish until pressured with this type of repercussions. Blames his employees, the system & that he needed a vacation.

Do not hire

Didn't do anything to help me in my family was paid did not refund anything did not win nor did he think he could fired him hired another a lawyer and we won and yes I'm a dad single dad My ex wife made False allegations against me I think he believed her I have weeks and months I could not see my c...hildren because a false court stuff and Doug did nothing except take more money in more money and more money If you're a single dad you can win just not with this guy!

Warning - Do Not Hire or Consult

I hired this attorney for a case and fired him due to his inaction. He is nonresponsive when you need for him to provide updates and he's negligent on matters that require his immediate attention. I went weeks without any communication after repeated request for information. That's unacceptable f...or any case. The amount he was paid far exceeded his initial estimate and there was little to show for it. My new attorney was surprised at how little action had been taken. It's clear that this attorney was exploiting me - this is not only unethical but on the verge of criminal.

Overpriced for the work not being conducted on the case

I've tried to be understanding being that he's an attorney whose serving the public. However, now it's totally impossible to get this hired attorney on the phone. My calls are met by "the gatekeeper", who comes across as completly clueless. My legal issues are continuing to drag yet I can't get a c...lear understanding as to why. Please do your research, this attorney is not proactive, bucks client communication and drags your case on, probably for more money to bill for services he's not really completing. Find an attorney who values your business, and also has a decent work ethic, because this one doesn't have those qualities.
