Attorney Ian Pickens did a great job for me. Would highly recommend.

I was recommended Attorney Ian Pickens by a friend who had used him in his DUI case and gotten a favorable outcome. I was facing a violation of felony probation for a new charge of driving on suspended and possible jail and/or prison sentence. Needless to say, I wanted to find the right lawyer. I wa...s impressed with Ian from the initial consultation. He answered all of my questions and assured me that he would do everything in his power to avoid me being incarcerated. He was always in contact and on top of things involving my case. Any questions I had were answered promptly. The state’s first offer was 6 months of community control, with which I was satisfied, but Ian went the extra mile. He asked for a continuance and took the extra time and effort to research my license history more thoroughly. Upon further investigation, Ian found out my license had actually been reinstated 6 days prior to me being ticketed. There had been a mistake in the system somewhere. At the following court date my case was dismissed by the prosecution and judge. I was obviously extremely pleased with the outcome. I’m very grateful to have been represented by Attorney Ian Pickens and would highly recommend his services.

Amazing people

Mr. Pickens was absolute AMAZING. He was able to speak to my parents who live in another state to get representation for me in the state I live in. He was able to help me get my legal situation under control, answered all of my questions, concerns, issues. Was available to me when I needed him. ... Then helped me clear an ADDITIONAL legal issue with a discounted rate for representing me before. Then helped to end my PTO early due to my completing all the requirements before deadline. The office staff was always pleasant, polite, and helpful. He's a very nice, kind, compassionate, and a LIFE SAVER!!! Thanks so much for all your help Mr. Pickens, you're great!!!

My Profound Appreciation to Ian Pickens!

Ian Pickens is a dynamite attorney! I consider myself fortunate that he took my case and enthusiastically defended me. He kept me informed and updated during the entire legal process. All my phone calls and emails were promptly returned. Mr. Pickens and his staff worked diligently and strived for... the ultimate outcome; the results far surpassed my expectations. I highly recommend Mr. Pickens and will definitely contact him again for my future legal needs.

Ian Pickens Thank You!

I want to give a huge thanks to Meldon Law. They were a big help to me winning my 2nd DUI case. Attorney Ian Pickens took my case and he did a great job. He helped get my whole case thrown out. He always stayed in contact with me. I always felt hope when we spoke. His assistant Ms. Abby was very nice... and I would refer them to anyone.

Not Terribly Good

I had very bad luck!!! I hired Ian right away on the phone as soon as I talked to him. The reason was he confidently said he could definitely get all my charges dropped because of a certain technicality or fact not being admissible in court. However right after I paid him $2500 and signed the contra...ct his tune totally changed immediately without any added info! He said that he never said anything about getting something dropped. I thought that was very strange indeed and I was very disheartened! I told him the truth that I was innocent and had to constantly remind him of this throughout because he always acted like I was guilty! He just wanted me to claim guilt and do a probation plea deal ! He never even gave me the time to tell him exactly what happened and so it reflected badly on my case! The time he allotted me was 15 minutes early before the court time to hear my story..... he was always late so he never did hear it once! What I did tell him more than once and it was very relevant and important to my case he claimed later I NEVER told him about it and therefore it was not used to my defense! When I mentioned it, it made him very angry and he actually raised his voice and yelled at me! I know that he was probably embarrassed and just took it out on me but it was such a rookie little kid move! The evidence was examined by him at the police station and it proved to be empty and totally different than what the police claimed. I asked him again right then do you believe my innocence now? He gave me a long lecture about even if someone was totally guilty and also a terrible person he would still defend them because it would be UNETHICAL for him not to. So basically he gave me a huge unethical long winded lecture that this imaginary hypothetical definitely GUILTY guy he would always treat very well and not at all think of as guilty but as for someone really totally innocent like me.............. ??? I would laugh if not almost having a breakdown and caving in at the third court hearing and about to falsely admit guilt from pressure and not knowing what else to do! I ended up being falsely charged and fraudulently jailed but I still had to pay $400 court fee and $100 jail fees! $100 Public Defender fee when I never once used one or wanted one! Ian acted like someone poor like me without a job or car it is not a big deal to pay the fee late and have a suspended license! I ended up with a bad criminal charge that SHOULD HAVE BEEN DROPPED! I will be a lot more careful before I ever commit to hire a lawyer ever again! I would try to find one with more experience. Two years is not enough!
