One of the things I liked best about Stacey’s representation was her communication. She explained in my consultation that we would correspond primarily by email because she’s in court so often. I liked that because I prefer email also. As the case progressed I grew to like this method even more. She ...must work 24 hours a day. If I asked a question at 8pm, I would get a reply by 10 or 11, almost every time. I never had to worry about calling a lawyer repeatedly and hoping for a returned phone call. My emails were responded to quickly. She was there for me every step of the way and never seemed to mind all of my neurotic questions. I went through a divorce a few years ago. That lawyer never returned phone calls and I don’t think he had an email address. Working with Stacey was refreshing. She’s young enough to grasp that we need 21st century methods of communication without being too young to perform her job at an optimal level. I should mention her emails were not the best part of her representation. She met and exceeded my every expectation. I came to her hoping for a reduction. My case was ultimately dismissed. She knew the law immediately when we first spoke and assured me that even though they could technically charge me with the offense, she thought they made several mistakes with my arrest. She was right and the charge was dismissed after she sent legal motion documents to the court and the prosecuting lawyer that argued our side and explained the problems with their case. I will not ever be in this situation again. But I will refer anyone needing a solid criminal defense to Stacey Goad.
