After being arrested during a check-point for my refusal to participate in a field sobriety or breathalyzer test, a judge in North Georgia and a former County Solicitor both recommended Sam's firm, McDonald Cody. Sam was assigned to my case and could not have delivered a better outcome. Sam is very bright and, importantly, has great relationships with the police officers, prosecutors and judges in North Georgia.

I'll be frank, my case was hopeless. I was dead to rights with a DUI (blew way above the limit), obstruction, evading, failure to maintain lane and leaving the scene of an accident in an area I was not familiar with at all. Though these were all first offenses, there is no reason I shouldn't be in jail right now or slapped with massive fines. Enter Sam Sliger. He came highly recommended from locals for his professionalism and ability to get results, which I initially reacted to with skepticism. My fears were very quickly dissuaded after I met with him the first time, he was calm, cool and collected, reassuring me that we still had a defense. Fast forward three months later, and all charges were dropped! I walked away with two city ordinance violations that had no affect on my license or insurance, it was a surreal result but speaks to Sam's ability and relationships with the North GA legal community. I would and will highly recommend him to friends involved with similar situations, he kept my dream of attending law school alive by keeping me out of jail with a felony-free record.

Mr. Sliger is second to none in my opinion. He was extremely professional and walked me through the entire process from our first meeting through my court date. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of my case and it was due to his vast knowledge of the law and being held in high esteem amongst his peers and law enforcement professionals. The highest compliment anyone can receive is a referral and I would absolutely without a doubt send anyone I know that is in an unfortunate legal situation to attain the services of Mr. Sliger.

I refer cases to Sam on a regular basis, and that is as high of an endorsement - in my mind - that a lawyer can give another lawyer. Sam gets what being a criminal defense lawyer is all about. He understands how to negotiate cases, but he also understands that there are some cases that just need to be presented to a judge or a jury and knows how to deliver results in those cases. I would trust Sam to defend me if I were in a bad spot with a criminal charge, and I believe you will be well-served if you chose him to represent you.

I endorse Sam Sliger without hesitation. Sam "gets it." From day one, Sam has been a litigator. He is a problem-solver, and he has the judgment to solve difficult legal problems. Although is is a younger lawyer, you would never know it. I had the pleasure of working several cases with Sam, and he has contributed significantly.
