This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.
This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
Interim suspension means an attorney lost his or her license to practice during a disciplinary investigation. The suspension typically expires when the investigation is resolved.

I was referred to Attorney Leighton Berry Jr by my Miami crew attorneys after being stopped in the ATL with weight. Did'nt think I would get much for only $25k, but he got me out and filed motions throwing the case out. In the MIA I would have easily paid at least $100k for an attorney at his level. Told the boys to hollar at him if stopped in the ATL.
