My son (19) got a speeding ticket on I-20 driving back to college. I tried to get him to just pay it online and be done with it. He kept telling me he could not. I did not know whether he could not or would not. Finally, we got to Sunday before his court date on Tuesday. He called me very concer...ned about what was going to happen. It was not until Sunday evening that I came to realize that 1) it was a "super-speeder" ticket and 2) super-speeder tickets cannot just be paid online; the court appearance is mandatory.
