I found Ashley at a time no parent wants to go through, I had just lost my 24 year old daughter. I hired Ashley to fight for my grandparent visitation rights for my only Granddaughter , Ashley immediately took action and we where in court within a week of my daughters passing, .We had some special circumstances in my case that needed immediate action . It was a long year battle and through it all I got to have time with my granddaughter ,in the end Ashley negotiated a fair permanent visitation plan. I was well represented from start to finish. Ashley and her firm where very fair in the cost to handle my case. I will continue to use Ashley in the future and recommend her to everyone .. Thank you for everything !

I went to Hackett & Wine based on a recommendation from a friend. Ashley Wine took on my case and she was a tremendous help. She saw my case completely through to the end with very positive results.
Ashley is very easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable. She pushed my case to keep it moving and communicated progress well. The entire team is very helpful and working with Ansley Lee was also a great experience.
I strongly recommend using Hackett & Wine as I know that I would not have gotten the attention, focus, and care that they were able to offer from another law group.

As a father it can be hard to find a caring divorce attorney. Ashley is very different. After my initial consultation I hired her on the spot to represent me because she didn't treat me as just another client. I could tell she actually cared about my specific divorce situation as a father and was going to do all she could to ensure the best possible outcome.
Through the entire process she was there to hold my hand on what became a very emotional divorce. She insured that my best interests as a father as well as the interests of my children were taken care of and explained what to expect each step of the way. She was and is quick to respond to any calls or emails that are sent.
Since the divorce has been finalized I have had to consult her on a few occasions to ensure I knew where I legally stood on concerns that I had. She knows the law inside and out and always provides the direction that I need.
I would never wish divorce on anyone but if it comes up I would be sure to refer them to Ashley.

I recently retained Wine for a custody modification filed by opposing party. During my initial consultation, I felt that Wine gave me honest advice based on her experience, rather than making promises in an effort to secure a client. This is one of the things I look for in an attorney. However, on the other hand, I did not get the impression that she was willing to "fight" for what I wanted as counterclaim, hence the 4 stars only. I believe that it is important to act as client advocate even if the attorney does not "think" a judge will grant a requested relief. My hearing is scheduled for soon. Will update review postings with more details as needed, to share this process and my experience with this attorney as compared to other Atlanta attorneys.

Ashley is a very easy attorney to talk to and very personable. She focuses on conflict resolution and finds the ultimate solutions to difficult situations. She is very detailed and does her homework prior to court appearances. She definitely knows her craft extremely well and my wife and I were very pleased with the outcome of our custodial and parenting issues with me ex-wife.

I hired Ashley Wine to help with my child custody case for my son. Ashley did a good job in getting all of the necessary steps taken care of to make this process as smooth as possible. Thankfully, with the evidence I was able to obtain myself and a willing opposite party the entire ordeal was not bad, putting aside the longevity the courts took to process everything. On the downside the cost(s) were fairly substantial and kept adding up over time. I wasn't very excited about that issue. However, in the end the result ended in my favor as far as custody was concerned.

Detailed, honest, and adept. These are the core competencies of Ashley Wine. Detailed -> Ashley is practically an archaeologist as she will continue to dig until every relevant artifact is unburied. Honest -> If you want a lawyer to tell you what “you” want to hear, it’s very easy to find one on Google. If you want someone to tell you the facts and realistic outcome of your case, Ashley will tell it to you straight. Adept -> The legal system is complicated. I wouldn’t take too much advice from your 3rd cousin that owns “Erin Brockovich” on DVD. Ashley has litigated in front of judges in all the core counties of Atlanta. This review is coming from a once very scared parent who was faced with a child relocation case that lasted 16 months. Today, I continue to parent as stronger person. Today, I know my rights were represented with passion. Today, the best interests of my daughter prevailed. Today, I rest easy. Thank you Ashley

Reading the reviews of Ms. Wine on Avvo.com and attending my initial consultation is what ultimately became my deciding factors of hiring Ashley Wine as my attorney. The initial consultation was comprehensive, concise, and informative. Ms. Wine was very helpful to thoroughly explaining what to was going to happen and what I should expect going through the legal process. Unfortunately, my experiences with previous attorneys were horrible and very unprofessional. After hiring Ms Wine, I can honestly say that I change my view on hiring an attorney and feeling comfortable about legal representation. I am satisfied and I would definitely hire her again.

When I knew it was time to file for divorce, I asked several friends for a referral. I interviewed three firms, and ultimately chose Hackett & Wine because during the initial consultation, I felt that Carrie Hackett was empathetic to my situation. She explained the process to me in layman's terms, then explained that Ashley Wine would be my main contact, but that they both work together on all cases. Once I met with Ashley, I felt very comfortable that she and Carrie would work together as my legal team, which turned out to be the case. Both were always up to date regarding the status of my case, and always filled in if the other was unavailable to address any need I had. Because it was such an emotional period of my life, both were compassionate, but reminded me to view the case as a financial transaction and to do my best to leave my emotions at the door anytime we went to court or mediation. This helped me to maintain a level head and let them guide me with their legal expertise. Both were responsive to my emails and phone calls, and always prepared me for what to expect at mediation and status conferences. I needed referrals for an insurance agent to provide me with healthcare, dental, and other policies as well as an accountant to provide information regarding how to structure a pension I would be receiving in the divorce. Hackett & Wine had a network of professionals to assist with those matters, which relieved me of the burden of searching on my own. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone.
