I received a DUI in January 2015 in one the toughest County in GA, Henry. After doing some research, I hired Tom Thomas to represent me. Tom was straight forward with with me on what I should expect from the Henry County Court System when it comes to DUIs. He argued my case and lost in April 2015 bec...ause the arresting officer to testified that my performance on the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus (“HGN”) test proved a specific numeric blood-alcohol content level. You would think that would be the end of Tom's services like some other lawyers, but Tom was determined to prove the that I was wrongfully prosecuted. Tom appealed my DUI case the Court of Appeals and lost again, but that did not stop him; even when I gave up and move on Tom was still working. He'll call me every few months to give me on update on where he was with my case. Tom performed appealed after appealed for over 2 years until GA Supreme Court decided to hear my case in May 2017. On October 2017, the GA Supreme reversed the Court of Appeals decision and dismiss my DUI, but that wasn't enough for Tom. On January 2018, Tom got the Solicitor General of Henry County to remove the DUI off my record and refund the fine amount I paid. I know there is a lot of DUI Lawyers in GA, but I would choose Tom Thomas over and over again because of his persistence and hard work. Good Luck!! Mellecia

Tom did an excellent job educating me on my rights and the plausible scenarios that would play out with my DUI case. He was able to negotiate with the Solicitor/DA to get my case reduced to Reckless Op and thanks to his knowledge, I was able to complete my requirements and transitioned to non-reporti...ng probation in less than 4 months from my arrest and 1 month from my court appearance/sentencing.
