I've had Sara handle a couple of my court cases now and both with very positive results. I hired her for a Cobb county DUI in which I was CLEARLY guilty, and she worked to help get the sentence reduced. She did all of the leg work while I was on a job in VA! She would call weekly or bi-weekly and let me know what was happening with my case. I ended up getting the minimum sentence, with approval from the judge to receive a work permit, and was immediately able to go back to work.
The latest case I had Ms Gheesling work for me on was in Bartow county (over an hour from her office) and was being charged with a felony driving while licence suspended. She did TONS of research and found information that technically didn't allow the state to charge me with a felony... got my sentence reduced to a misdemeanor, AND helped me plea nolo so that it didn't count additional time against my license suspension. I got the minimum fines, and she even helped me get non-reporting probation.
Killer attorney! I only wish I would have hired her for the case before last!!!! She's an amazingly talented young attorney, whom is an absolute Bulldog in court! A real pleasure to have worked with! A+++ Will DEFINITELY be calling her again if future needs arise!

My experience with Ms. Gheesling starts almost a year ago. In a not very comfortable situation. I had got a DUI and refused to blow or take a blood test. For those who don't know you go to ALS court where they automatically take your licence away for not blowing or doing a chemical test for a dui stop., No attorney, but I did have a case. My friend had got a DUI before me after me and hired Sara and I just happened to be the luckiest man alive and she he happened to be at the ALS on a separate client and my friend actually came with me to my ALS case.. She helped me at least extend the date, by talking to the judge free of charge. That was crutial as I WOULD HAVE AUTOMATICALLY LOST MY LICENCE FOR A YEAR no if and or buts. Well later I decided to hire Ms. Gheesling and from the very start she was straight forward and open about the procedures and the likely outcome. The second ALS the officer didn't show and this was huge. Then we got the video. By no means perfect but more than enough to believe that we might just be able to beat this thing. Time went on and and court date after court date the ball started rolling. It took a great deal of effort and time but eventually we got it to a jury trial. Our defense was very strong and we even went through a large portion of the trial almost to the end. Then the Prosecution offered me a deal I couldn't say no to, although I would have loved to just to see how this whole thing would had ended but I digress. Even with a very strong defense you are still at the mercy of the jury and its not like I had a home run case, it did have its flaws but as mentioned, strong. I sit here typing this after court in which the bond that was paid will cover all the costs of the plea, I keep my license. Hell I didn't even get any points on my driving record (nolo). I think its also very important to mention Sara did not make me take this plea and was very supportive of either root I would have taken and I always felt like I had the upper hand in trial. Shes very real, understanding, practical, witty, and slightly fierce. Everything you'd want to see in an online dating profile. But shes a lawyer!! So what are you doing, give her a call, she might just be your lifesaver like she helped mine!

I got a DUI in Loganville, GA. This was my first DUI and I was terrified. I did not know what to do and I could not have this on my record. I was referred to Sara by a friend at work. He said that she was "The best DUI attorney ever." I read Saras reviews and I immediately called her. She lets you set up payment plans so I was very happy about that. We spoke about everything and I started paying her $300 weekly until I paid the full $2665 off before my court date. The day before my court date she called me and said that there really was nothing she could do for my case. I wish I would've known that from the beginning or I wouldn't have hired her. But of course she didn't tell me that when I hired her. We met at court the next morning. First of all, Sara was late. I had to call her to make sure she that she was still coming. When she finally showed up she didn't even remember what I looked like, and she had to call my name in front of everyone to remember who I was. She then stated that she would ask to have the charges reduced to wreckless driving (which I still to this day do not believe she did). She pulled me aside literally minutes before we went in front of the judge and said that she couldn't do ANYTHING for my case. There was nothing I could do at that point. We went upstairs to the courtroom where everyone (without lawyers) were making deals & having charges dropped and reduced left and right. I looked at Sara & whispered "Why are they dropping charges for these people but they won't atleast reduce my DUI?" She stated, "Because marijuana charges aren't that big of a deal." Excuse me, what?? We went in front of the judge, she barely spoke to the judge at all. I asked her to ask the judge if I could atleast be on non-reporting probation since Loganville was so far from my house. She barely did that for me. I actually had to nudge her when the judge asked if we had any further questions. I know for a fact that I would have been better off representing myself. I got the maximum penalty for a DUI. I spent more on a lawyer than I did on the DUI. When we went downstairs to sign more papers, the employees of the court told me that I could not drive off by myself or I would automatically be arrested. I needed to get a ride to the DMV to obtain my driving permit before I could drive anywhere by myself. Sara said "As a courtesy I will drive you to the DMV since you have nobody else, but honestly if they are busy I do not feel like waiting for you so you will need to take an uber back." I could not believe my ears. I was about an hour from home so I had nobody else. Thankfully the DMV was dead and she actually waited for me. (The DMV was minutes from the court by the way).
This was probably the worst expierience I have ever had. I was very disappointed. I still to this day cannot believe how everything panned out.
