Fantastic Lawyer

I hired Mr. Lawson when I got a DUI. I couldn’t have asked for a more pleasant experience. He explained everything to me in detail and told me what to expect. I was afraid, since I have never been in the courts before. I knew I was in good hands. He knew exactly what to do, and this helped take... some of the worry away while going through this scary process. He always answered my questions, and returned my phone calls promptly when I needed to talk to him. I had a lot to lose if I got a DUI on my record and my nerves were shattered. I knew there were no guarantees as to how my case would turn out, and Mr. Lawson told me that everything that he could legally do for me, would be done. Mr. Lawson was prepared to take my case to trial, and we were ready to go trial. Just before the trial day came, Mr. Lawson convinced the prosecutor to reduce my DUI charge to reckless driving. No more DUI! I owe a lot to Mr. Lawson, and I highly recommend him.

He got the job done

I was very happy with Mr. Lawson, he was both great lawyer and a real gentlemen. I must admit that when I first got my DUI, I was worried that my life would completely change. Mr. Lawson advised me on the entire situation and gave me hope that things could be ok. After going to court with Mr. Lawson,... things really did work out better than I had expected, He had a good relationship with the Judge and the prosecutor, and that seemed to help a lot. I recommend Richard Lawson to anybody without any hesitation. Thanks, Steve M.

DUI Less Safe to Wet Reckless

Mr. Lawson definitely has this scenario down pat. He and his assistant, Sarah, made it as easy as possible for someone in this extremely stressful situation. They reduced my DUI less safe to a wet reckless with no extra jail time or probation at all. I had to complete 40 hours of community service, a...ttend a DUI class, and have an evaluation done before my court date. Fines were reduced to my bond amount that I had already paid. My only stipulation is I paid top tier money to have him represent me and I never met him once. He has 3 tiers you can choose from; starting with experienced attorneys under his wing, to the top tier being Mr. Lawson himself to represent you. I only talked to him one time on the phone for my initial consultation. He didn't even come to my court date, which I found very frustrating. I still certainly recommend him and his team because they got results, I just don't think it was fair to pay top dollar for him specifically and not even meet the man.

Not the best consult experience

It was like he was trying to force me to hire him for both cases when I specifically told him I’m not interested. He decided not to help with the probation violation because I would not hire him for the pending misdemeanor case in another county.

It is a shame to get a bad review from someone you tried to help on the phone. I take issue with the word "force," however the rest is accurate. I told the caller that her significant other needed more than help with the probation violation because he also had new charges as well. When someone has more than one legal problem it is best to coordinate the outcome so that the person does not risk being double punished. I am sure that the caller is upset that her significant other is facing legal trouble. I am sorry she feels upset and wish her the best.
