Lawyer of the Year

I was introduced to Darren through a family friend after being involved in an outrageous shooting incident. Being new to the US and it's culture I was hesitant to take matters further, wishing not to re-live the experience. As a result of the tremendous efforts of Darren and Butler Tobin I persevered... and will be forever grateful. Darren's only request of me was to TRUST HIM, and I did just that. He was always available to ease my anxieties and provide a comforting touch when needed. At the same time he was also ready to punish those individuals who had harmed me using his legal wit and intellect. Thank you for everything Darren! I feel welcomed into your family, and I will value the friendship that was formed over the course of our professional relationship. Through your hard work and dedication justice has been served!

Truck Wreck Cliebt

I want to express my sincere thanks to Darren, Kate and the rest of the Butler Tobin team for their hard work on my case. Initially before I spoke with Darren, I presumed that I would call the other diver’s insurance company and they’d agree to cover all my bills, as well as pay me for my totaled veh...icle, and the pains I was having. But when the insurance company’s adjuster called me and extended an offer very early on to pay some of my bills and told me that she would give me $1,000 for my pain, I was shocked. How could this adjuster be making an offer when she didn’t even have a full picture of my injuries or what my long-term medical treatment would be? I decided to consult with an attorney. I was referred to Darren from someone in my family. I watched his videos and researched him online. He fought for me and it was a lot more than I thought he would win for me. I am extremely pleased with the result of my case.

Highly Recommended - Knowledgeable, Experienced, and Excellent Negotiator

Darren Tobin and his firm were highly recommended to me by several attorneys at my law firm in Midtown. When I called Darren to discuss my case, he spent a great deal of time on the phone with me going over the details and pointing out the strengths and weaknesses as he saw them. As an attorney mysel...f, I recognized the difficulties with my case and knew it would be an uphill battle. I appreciated Darren's candidness and sincerity with me. From that first phone conversation, I trusted him entirely. He started work immediately on my case, checked in with me frequently to provide updates, did an excellent job negotiating with opposing counsel and reading between the lines, and exceeded all my expectations regarding the outcome. Great practice that delivered results!

Butler Tobin was great to work with and after leaving another practice helped restore my faith in PI attorneys. They were informed, helpful and deliver results in no time at all. After suffering a hit and run, I didn't want to deal with much more nonsense from a lawyer - they were straightforward- I ...always spoke with an attorney and not a paralegal. It was a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone!
