After extensive negotiations, the parties agreed to the sale of the property for approximately five times the fair market value of the property.

Represented plaintiff, a seller of tires for race cars, in suit against buyer of tires for failure to pay for products that had been delivered. Defendants were all Florida residents, and significant question existed over whether the Federal District Court in Georgia, where suit was filed, had personal jurisdiction over them. Defense filed a motion to dismiss, and after extensive briefs filed by both sides, the court denied the motion to dismiss and allowed suit to proceed. The case subsequently settled.
