I have a passion for counseling clients through the law's uncertainty, for simplifying complex legal problems, and for providing clear communication. Downs Law was started with these principles in mind, and with an aim to provide quality legal services in a more personal and cost-effective manner.
My background is in civil litigation, with an emphasis on commercial landlord/tenant disputes. That said, I have experience handling a wide variety of litigation matters, including property damage, real estate, employment, collections, homeowner's association, government, probate, and bankruptcy. My firm can also negotiate and facilitate business transactions, such as leases, personal guaranties, deeds, operating agreements, security agreements and other deal documents.
I also publish a commercial landlord/tenant blog through my website, www.downslawllc.com. The topics are designed to be instructive to property managers, owners, and other practitioners about common issues and strategies.
