Nearly two years ago, I arrived as a fresh-faced teacher at APS, one of the most troublesome districts in the state of Georgia. Unfortunately, I did not let their unscrupulous reputation stop me from accepting employment within their district, because of a significant increase in salary. Initially, I received warning after warning from my professional teaching peers that the larger salary was “combat pay”.
Not long after arriving at APS I realized that APS’ culture was nothing like the previous school district I worked for. Staffed by an entrenched administration who were hell-bent on doing things the way they had always been done in APS. Like hiring their friends for positions they were not qualified for, isolating and ostracizing honest teachers who wanted no part in the sorority-like fraternity, and creating a toxic work environment for all the teachers who fell outside of their zone of exclusion.
God forbid if you were really there to teach, you automatically went under the radar as a threat to the established order (or disorder). It wasn’t long before I was target of the administration, because they had not better things to do.
The principal would repeatedly call me to the office to confront me, not ask, about hearsay and gossip (none pertaining to the actual job, for which we are paid to do). Things deteriorated to the point that they began to make up false allegations against me, mock, belittled me and engage in slander. When these tactics failed I was then given vague objectives, no to little feedback, and was essentially being prepped and set-up to fail. After the allegations were placed against me I was removed from the classroom and placed down at the district. I was advised to contact an attorney, which I did not do, because I had faith in the system and the fact that I was innocent of the false allegations. I assumed that once the investigators read my version of what happened that they would be able to clearly see what was done to me, that couldn’t have been further from the truth. After sitting at the region for 5 months, mind you I had only been teaching there for 1 year, APS told me to resign or they would terminate me, because they agreed with the allegations. I was advised by APS that no matter which way I took both paths qualified me to be reported to PSC. It was at that point that I knew that I needed an attorney.
I started looking for an attorney by word of mouth and I was referred to several, but once APS reported me to the PSC and I saw that the PSC offered me a revocation, I knew right there and then that I needed a great attorney. A friend of mine told me to go to google and conduct a search for an educational lawyer in which I bumped into Michael Kramer. I dissected him inside out and I loved what I read about him. I was even more intrigued to see that one of the reviews that I read sounded very similar to what I was dealing with and that Mr. Kramer obtained favorable results for them. I printed up all of the reviews that were done on Mr. Kramer and kept it by my side to read them as if studying him was a bible course.
It was the weekend when I found his info and Monday couldn’t come fast enough. Every time my spirit was low I reread the reviews on Mr. Kramer and it lifted me up.
His 32+ years of experience was another perk for me in accepting him as my attorney. I figure after 32 years you know what you are doing at this point and figured that he could help me. I contacted his office, told them what I was dealing with. We set up a meeting time and I went to his office. After talking to Mr. Kramer I felt good about the decision that I made to choose Mr. Kramer as my attorney. After a long fight, my case is finally over and my faith has been restored always by God, but God used Mr. Kramer to bless me in so many ways. I won my case thanks to Mr. Kramer and the outcome ruled in my favor to keep a valid teaching license and be able to go back to teaching. I would recommend Mr. Kramer!

Mr. Kramer helped me to settle an unjust termination dispute with my school. He was very thorough in researching the details surrounding my termination. He was very direct and clear with his questions, but sensitive to the difficult time I was having. In a short time, he had reached an amicable agreement on the terms of my departure from the school that were very beneficial to me. I would highly recommend him.

I am convinced that Michael Kramer is the best educational lawyer in Georgia. His expertise in employment and labor laws afforded me the opportunity to be victorious in a very complicated case. I found myself in a situation that was not my battle, but because of my position, I was in the midst. My prayer was that God would handle the situation for me. He sent Michael Kramer! During the four year battle, I never had to state my case to anyone. In fact, Michael advised me to talk to him only regarding the case and he would handle everything for me. He did just that! He was able to get me what I requested and that was to walk away with my name and license.

Michael's legal knowledge of public education issues with the PSC and his ability to work with the Attorney General's office are tremendous assets for educators needing legal counsel in these fields. He did an excellent job of preparing me for what was an arduous process and provided constant feedback throughout. His relationships with key officials in state government allowed him to operate in a non-adversarial role. Because of this, he was able to produce a successful outcome for me. His diligence in pursuing the truth was the critical factor in meeting my needs. Michael was a tremendous advocate for me, and I would highly recommend him to prospective clients.

I obtained Michael E. Kramer as my attorney a few years ago, as I was involved in a very public scandal. I lost my job and my teaching certificate was being threatened, which meant my livelihood was jeopardized. Securing Kramer was the best decision I made, as he worked countless hours on my case with my employer and the PSC. The day I secured Kramer, I immediately saw his confidence and belief in me as his client, and that gave me the confidence to believe in him and my outcome. Kramer was very knowledgeable, worked relentlessly, and left "no stone unturned" as he represented me. Because of his determination, I was able to keep my job and certificate. My colleagues, friends, and family all saw how dedicated Kramer was to fighting my case. Consequently, many have used him and the others have his name and number stored in the event they should ever need him. It is very refreshing to have my life and peace back. There is no doubt in my mind that there's no other like Kramer. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.

I hired Michael after I was injured on the job, and my employer threatened to fire me without cause and said I had no choice but to accept it. Not only did Michael file a claim that resulted in the job trying to keep me, but when I decided that I didn’t trust my employer enough to feel comfortable going back to work for them, Michael was able to secure a decent settlement for me. The result was appealing since my employer had originally acted as if they could easily get rid of me without me having any recourse. Additionally, throughout the case I felt as if I held the ultimate decision on how the case should proceed, and that Michael would have supported whatever decision I made. And he was also easily accessible.

Michael Kramer speaks directly to your issue. His information is always sound and he has great attention to detail.I rated Michael highly because of his consistency and because of his determination. He never seems detached. He communicates as if your situation paramount all of the time. He can recall similar cases to yours quickly. Be very clear...Michael can also redirect a person when the intentions are misguided, he can keep an individual focused on the specific situation. Michael is never misdirected, he counsels on the case and not on emotion.

I recently suffered an injury on my job and found out very quickly that dealing with my employer and their adjuster was something that I wasn't prepared to do alone. I, like everyone else that's faced with the decision of whether to hire an attorney or not was left with little choice, I needed legal representation. I simply prayed about it and googled "the best workers comp attorney". I found Michael Kramer and was so impressed with his reviews on Avvo that choosing him was easy, as a matter of fact if reviews turned out to be as accurate as Mr. Kramers we all would be as satisfied with the choices we make as a result of them as I am. not only did Mr. Kramer meet with me the next day but from the very onset of our consultation he made me feel like I was more than a client , right away I felt comfortable and new I had made the right choice. I was informed about every step and was asked,if I was ok with each decision before they were made. Mr. Kramer is trustworthy, knowledgeable, honest, and although professional , not to the point that his professionalism makes him seem insensitive, but instead he's found a way to blend his professionalism with personalized and customized service and for me that's what makes him a success. He settled my case in three weeks and I'm very pleased with the outcome. Me. Kramer should be the example for all professionals.
