Anyone who has been charged with serious crimes by the federal government knows how stressful this can be to both oneself and especially to one’s family and loved ones. As such, I needed an attorney who I could trust my life with. This was no easy task as I only knew the negative connotations associated with attorneys.
After hiring Attorney Howard Weintraub I realized that my previously formed negative thoughts about attorneys were no longer true as I had found an attorney who did more than he promised. Not only were Howard Weintraub’s fees reasonable, and the number of hours he spent on my case well exceeded the fees he charged, but he took my case personally.
His knowledge about the federal laws and the federal sentencing guidelines is remarkable. The weeks that we spent together preparing my case for court made me realize that I had found an exceptional attorney who eased my stress and believed in me. His relentless pursuit for justice in my case resulted in a very favorable outcome for me.
As such I not only hired an attorney, but I gained a friend who my family and I will always hold very close to our hearts. I have no hesitation in discussing my experience with Howard Weintraub and I would welcome contact with anyone who is searching for an attorney who will be straight forward and honest and will give 100% of his efforts to ensure that you have the best legal representation available.

I was under investigation by the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Department of Justice for allegedly preparing thousands of false tax returns. If I were to be indicted and convicted, I was facing over five years in prison and the payment of restitution of between $200,000.00 - $300,000.00. I was desperate and fearful over losing my freedom, being branded a convicted felon, owing the government over one quarter million dollars and losing my life as I had known it. I prayed to God for a hard fighting, aggressive and highly respected attorney who would defend me and prevent the government from ruining my life and the lives of my children. There were so many lawyers to go to but I thank God for directing me to Atlanta Attorney Howard Weintraub. Through Mr. Weintraub’s efforts, knowledge and reputation he convinced the government that I was innocent and not to bring any charges against me. I learned of Mr. Weintraub’s victory and of the government’s decision not to indict me just 8 days before Christmas, 2010. This is the greatest Christmas present I have ever received. I highly recommend Howard Weintraub to anyone in the country in need of a fantastic, hard fighting, aggressive and highly respected criminal lawyer. Thank you Howard, and Merry Christmas to you Howard Weintraub and your family.

I was arrested for DUI in September, 2006. After searching for a good lawyer to represent me, a friend of mine highly recommended that I use Howard Weintraub as my attorney. What a wonderful choice that was! According to the Georgia State Patrol trooper who pulled me over because I was speeding, I had a strong odor of alcohol on my breath, my eyes were watery and bloodshot, and I stumbled when I walked outside of my car. Also, the trooper claimed that I had 6 out of 6 clues on the eye examination and that I swayed very badly during that test. I also registered .141 on the alcosensor. After the trooper arrested me, I agreed to take the breath test at the police station and I blew almost 1 1/4 times the legal limit.
After representing me for over 2 1/2 years, in December, 2008 Howard Weintraub was successful in convincing the judge in Fulton County State Court to dismiss my entire case. Because of Howard Weintraub’s efforts I was not found guilty of anything: not even of speeding (which I clearly was guilty of). Because of Howard Weintraub’s representation of me I never lost my license and I continue to have a clean record, free of any criminal convictions.
Thank you Howard Weintraub for being a caring and wonderful attorney.
Eric Bernstein, DUI and DWI Attorney
Relationship: Worked together on matter
Having worked together on a case with Mr. Weintraub, it is evident that he knows his way around a courtroom. Mr. Weintraub's knowledge of the law and eloquence of the tongue are what sets him apart from other attorneys. He also has a multitude of experience in state and federal manners. I would recommend him for any criminal or traffic matters.
