Truly a terrible experience. I hired Stephen through a referral and he certainly knows how to give you the impression that he's a very competent lawyer, INITIALLY. I hope I'm not the only one that looks at the bill for attorney's, because he had some extremely suspect charges on there that I called him on. Like 45 min calls to people that, when asked, he had no recollection of what they discussed, but certainly didn't hesitate charging me 100's of dollars for it. He told me that "We can work something out", I told him there's no working out dishonesty and fired him. If you're foolish enough to hire him check your bill closely.

I've really been kicking myself for trusting Stephen with my Divorce. I've learned when to fire an attorney and handled that well. That was the only thing handled well in my case. I did nearly all the leg work and he still forgot to do the few things we talked about. One was editing an insert I had written out in the same format as the other forms I had seen. He had suggested he change a section, was an age, very simple change. He forwarded me what he sent and he failed to complete even that simple task. He sent me exactly what I had sent him! When I approached him with it he said "Maybe I'll cut ya some slack on that one" . Of course I went through the bill closely and found numerous errors. He wanted to negotiate. Wanted to negotiate things he didn't do. What a joke. I would recommend looking elsewhere for legal assistance.
