Excellent energetic, experienced, capable and aggresive attorney

Like everyone else who ends up on the wrong side of the cops' judgement, I needed help. I wasn't happy with my first lawyer and felt he was complacent. I never sensed one ounce of Scott pushing for anything that would be expedient for him or his firm. I never sensed him pushing for anything. The advi...ce always presented me with options and an open and transparent communication that was conducive to asking questions, however stupid they might be. My first case dragged out for 3 years, largely because the prosecuting county waited almost 2 years to formally accuse me. During this entire time I never felt a sense of urgency coming from Scott and he helped guide me to put in the type of work that persuaded the prosecutor to drop the consequential part of the charges. Had this not panned out, the option for a trial was always available and never discouraged had I chosen this option. Another case reached the best deal possible and the same readiness to get me the best outcome possible was there. I hope I never have to, but I will absolutely turn to Scott first for any other matter, should I be in trouble again.

Excellent Attorney Who Produces Results!

Attorney W. Scott Smith is the best Criminal Defense Attorney in town. Attorney Smith is very personable, honest and he listens. If you are looking to have your case professionally and quickly resolved, look no further. His staff are all excellent as well. The payment plan offered by his firm is very... reasonable as well. I am forever grateful for the legal representation that I received from Attorney Smith.

Scott Goes the Distance & Gets Results!

I was facing multiple criminal traffic infractions including DUI. Scott was able to address all outstanding charges at a single Recorder’s Court hearing as one consolidated case, and obtained a very favorable negotiated plea deal with the prosecutor. This “magically” resulted in the judge waiving ...the supposed “mandatory“ jail time on the DUI as “time served.” Furthermore, Scott was able to get the probation office to agree to let me send in monthly probation reports via mail, which allowed me to move back to Florida and avoid meeting in person with the probation officer. As a bonus, he also negotiated early dismissal of my probation, cutting my probation in half! Do yourself a favor and hire Scott – he will handle your case with expert care from beginning to end and get you the results you need!

Wow- Great lawyer

Scott Smith's knowledge, expertise and courtroom demeanor are all top notch. Faced with an extremely stressful DUI with a high BAC, Scott immediately put me at ease within the first 5 minutes of my consultation. Throughout the lengthy legal process, Scott ensured that I was well-informed and kept abr...east of any new developments leading up to my hearing and he stayed positive throughout. Immediately following the jury's decision, another attorney approached me to tell me that he had never seen such great lawyering. Even after disposition Scott remained. If you are looking for a smart and hardworking lawyer, I can't recommend Scott enough. He is pricey but you get what you pay for.

YOU CAN'T MAKE THIS UP

Scott is the best. He represented me on a DUI case that involved an accident. I backed into a police car in the parking lot of a sports bar! I was charged with Hit & Run, DUI, and failure to report accident. The witnesses against me: 3 police officers!!! one of which had become a federal inspecto...r who was the Sgt/supervisor at the time of the arrest. My husband, a convicted felon, on parole until 2026, and myself were our only two witnesses. Sgt. FED and one of the other officers were called to testiy against me. The FED commuted from Savannah to sit in on the trial AFTER he was done testifying to showcase his interest in the case with all of his certifications. Scott dropped the mic! Not guilty on all charges. Who does that?!? W. Scott Smith and Peach State, that's who! BTW he is just as wonderful a person. Whatever his fee for your case, I can guarantee you, he's worth more.
