2nd dui pending.. I was saved!

I was looking at serious charges for a second dui charge back in June 2015 I was arrested and I saw my job family and freedom in jeopardy. I hired Scott and after speaking with him around 3 hours I knew he was my guy. Communication and his anylitical work was at a premium. After all said an done he d...id the unthinkable and got me a plea bargain for a reckless driving no jail time 10 days of cs and I KEPT my liscence. He saved me a second dui would have crippled me and with Scott it all starts because he cares about his clients. His hard work had prevailed. Hire Scott and you absolutely will not be disappointed. He is the best all around person and attorney AROUND!

WIN with Mr. Scott Cummins

I was involved with a DUI case in Coweta county . Mr. Cummins represented the defendant in the case. He made a stressful situation bearable by keeping us informed, explaining costs and offering the best and worst case scenarios. I trust him and highly recommend Mr. Cummins. Good luck to op...posing Counsel- you will need to be thorough to be up against him.

Review

Last year our world was turned upside down. Our son, who had never been in any trouble, was involved in a car accident that killed one man, injured one lady and injured a Georgia state trooper. We are from another state and had no idea who to call. We were referred to Scott Cummins by the CFO of o...ur son's company, who happened to be a local resident. He indicated that Scott Cummins had the reputation of being one of the best criminal defense attorneys in that area. Our son blew a 0.00 at the scene and then was taken to a local hospital for blood testing. He was charged with 12 felony counts and faced up to 67 years in prison. Eventually, all of the DUI charges were dropped and our son took a blind plea. He was sentenced to 15 years to serve 3. Subsequently, several months later Mr. Cummins filed a request for a reduction in sentence and the judge reduced our son’s initial sentence down to 15 years to serve 1 and reduced his community service from 1,000 hours to 240 hours. Mr. Cummins was instrumental in leading and guiding us through a legal maze. He also maintains a good working relationship with the prosecutors and judges in his area. I think what says the most about his representation is that while we never thought our son deserved to spend one day in prison, we knew realistically what we were facing. Mr. Cummins was always upright and forthcoming with us; even when he had to be brutally honest. After the fact, we have never doubted that we made the right decision in retaining Mr. Cummins. We are hyper aware of accidents in that area of Georgia now and have seen many cases of young people who are sentenced to 15 years and generally serve 7 to 8 years. Not only did Mr. Cummins take a professional interest in this case; he and his entire staff took a personal interest also. In hindsight, we would definitely not change our choice in choosing Mr. Cummins as our defense attorney. His help and guidance literally meant that our son would not have to spend the rest of his life in prison and miss the birth and life of his first child.

Best Plea I've ever done (Hopefully my last)

Scott was great to have, mostly because I have no understanding of the legal system. I chose Scott because he was honest and up front about what we should expect with my case, in that we would probably plead guilty and get the standard court minimum sentencing. This is what ultimately what happened, ...but not due to a lack of effort on Scott's part. He gave me an honest review of my chances and recommend that I plead, as it was safe and cautious. I just wanted to get all of this behind me as quick as possible, and Scott helped greatly. Probably more than I'll ever realize because I would have been lost on my own. He is also a great local lawyer and knows all of the local standards. It seems like he spends all of his time at the court house, and I wouldn't be surprised if that was true.

Scott Cummins is a wonderful Laywer - highly recommend

My daughter had 3 serious traffic tickets. A good friend of mine had used Scott Cummins and referred him. I was well pleased with the way Scott handled our case. He went to court with us and pleaded our case and we had a very good ruling from the courts. In hindsight, hiring Scott was the best th...ing we could have done, if we had gone to court without a lawyer I am sure the outcome would have been much different. Scott was always very caring, professional, and kept us informed at all times.
