Review

Lizz Kuhn and her entire team did an amazing job with my divorce. She charged a very reasonable rate and communicated clearly everything I should provide for hearings and discovery. Everyone from her offices including Missy and Gigi always answered any questions or concerns I had quickly and clearly.... We even got some attorneys fees awarded along with child support and alimony. She did an amazing job and I'm so thankful I found them!

Not the Attorney I wanted - But DEFINITELY the attorney I needed

Elizabeth Kuhn represented me in my divorce and child custody case. Nearly four years ago, my ex dropped a bombshell and left me. I was in a difficult place -- scared, unsure, emotionally fragile, just trying to make the best of things. My (now ex) husband indicated that he wanted to have an amica...ble divorce so I went on the search for a "nice" attorney who would make everything easy for both of us. And be nice, of course. I googled attorneys and chose one whose office was near my home. The choice was entirely by chance, but what a great choice it ended up being. Elizabeth is, indeed, very nice. She makes you feel comfortable right away. Her office and staff are warm and inviting. There's even a separate play area for small children with toys and a TV to entertain them. Elizabeth was immediately able to see through the charade my ex was pulling. As she worked on the divorce decree, she made sure that my kids and I were well taken care of and that my husband was no longer able to call all the shots. It was refreshing to work with her and know that she had seen all this before and knew just what to do. Three years later, I was back. My ex had decided to stop paying the full amount of support. Elizabeth was able to work her special kind of magic again. She has a gift in knowing how to deal with difficult exes and opposing counsel. She can be witty and she can be pushy. She says and does what needs to be done, and she makes it all work out in the end. I have already recommended this attorney to friends in the hopes that they, too, can benefit from good representation in difficult times.

Thank you so much for the review! I've been working on my arm and welcoming ;-) I tend to be a bit abrasive at times, but when you are in court day in and day out, you learn to get to the point! I wish you all the best success life has in store for you! Give those "babies" big hugs and kisses!

Even though the opposing councel was working hard to take away everything from me(after being married for 23 years and three children later), Lizz and Alex worked diligently on my behalf! I was awarded primary physical custody of my son, half pension, and child supportI I want to thank the entire law... firm at Hait & Kuhn for their outstanding service. They made an extremely difficult time in my life much more bearable. Liz and Alex handled my divorce case with such professionalism and grace at all times, however they know just at the right times when to "PLAY HARD" and believe me they can out-smart the best of them! Their stamina and work ethic, in addition to their knowledge, research, and skills is the best out there...They never stopped working on my behalf and always advocated for me. When things looked scary they assured me that everything would turn out ok! Liz and Alex are the best at their craft. They are always keeping up with best law practices and they work around the clock to assure the best outcome possible for their client!As soon as I presented my case to Lizz she new exactly how to proceed and even though alot of my case had to do with an out of state pension and nasty opposition from the opposing councel she NEVER backed down! !

Wonderful Attorney - Highly Recommended - Very Satisfied Client

Elizabeth Kuhn vigorously represented me during a child support matter against my ex. She always took the time to answer my questions and always made me feel like I was an important client, even though my case was a simple matter. She was knowledgable and professional and I was very comfortable with ...her as my legal representative. Her entire staff was amazing and always so helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. I was fully informed of the process and what to expect so nothing came as a surprise. I had full and complete confidence in Ms. Kuhn and her firm and I definitely know who to call in case I'm in need of legal assistance in the future.

If I could put 0 stars I would have. This firm is absolutely ridiculous! Everytime I turned around Lizz and the firm were charging astronomical amounts for "the work they done" I was initially charged $7500 for an appeal that was never filed. I paid them over $30,000 and NOTHING was done. We went int...o court on child support modification and contempt on my ex wife. Needless to say we looked like big dummies. The judge would not hear it because the paperwork was filed incorrectly and the firm refused to make it right by filing the correct paperwork and wanted me to pay $10,000 for an appeal that I had already paid for when I hired her. I was charged over $2000 for emails that were sent to me that to recap phone conversations that took place minutes before that I was charged for as well. RUN do not hire this firm!!!!!! They will suck all the money out of you, they are not professional at all, neither her or her husband showed up at court they sent an associate attorney, she had to ask the judge for a 10 minute recess and walk out in the hall to call Lizz and ask what to do! Do not waste your money on this lawyer!

I am not sure who this person is. Occasionally we have the opposing party write a review. When I contacted a client that may have fit this description, he informed me that he did not post this review. Unfortunately people can post whatever they want on the internet and lawyers cannot respond. What I can say is that we take every case very seriously; that you will find less expensive lawyers and more expensive lawyers and that we are right in the middle. My firm copies all clients on emails, phone calls, in come and out going mail. We strive for constant communication. No lawyer can promise any result and we put that very clearly in our contract. We also provide fully itemized bills and offer clients an opportunity to comb through the bill. I can tell you that we have made billing mistakes and immediately fix them. No one is perfect. We also offer opportunities for a sit down to go over reasonable expectations of all cases and the billing process.
