Slept Soundly Because They Had My Back

Bottom Line Up Front: Liz & H&K / North Metro exceeded all my expectations and kept costs in check during my uncontested divorce. I'd trust my friends and family with Lizz. How I Found Them: I was referred to Lizz by a friend of mine, who had a much nastier and more complicated divorce battle tha...n me. I figured if she could handle my friend's case, then she could handle mine. The friend and I both were looking for someone who could keep costs reasonable, offer sound legal guidance while guiding us through the process, and deliver results on-time. And they delivered - as promised I was truly impressed with how responsive and genuine Lizz and everyone at the firm was throughout all communication and handling of my case. I was lucky that my case remained uncontested, but there were moments when I thought it might get ugly, and they prepared me accordingly. If it went that way, it helped to know that they'd be ready to respond quickly and have my back.

Best in the game

Lizz was instrumental in my case. She always answered my questions quickly and kept fighting for me from day one. I accomplished everything I wanted in my modification. Elizabeth was extremely helpful

Lizz is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. She looked out for my best interests during my time as her client on a personal injury case. She was very quick with her responses and handled my case with a strong hand.

Contested Divorce

I was not referred to a practice. They were never mentioned to me when I asked my coworkers/family. I did though, see many reviews about how great they were in court with these types of cases, and it seemed that they could not be matched. All of the reviews were right. They were very professional, b...ut kind all at the same time. My case was very emotional to me, because the father of my child kept her away from me. They were prompt with communicating back and forth, even when speaking with my ex's attorney. I sat on Liz's left side in that court room and have never been more proud of women today. She stood up and laid that hammer down hard, but professionally. I am very appreciative in all of there hard work and effort. I will be recommending her and her law firm to anyone I know that needs legal advice and assistance.

Lizz made a very difficult situation bearable!!!

Hait & Kuhn handled my contested divorce case...and after more than 3 years (at no fault of Hait & Kuhn) my divorce became final. It was a very difficult and complicated divorce and I am very blessed that Lizz was there with me throughout the entire process! I can't say enough about Lizz's professio...nalism and overwhelming knowledge of the legal system. After appearing in court with her several times, it became very evident that she is greatly respected among her peers as well as in the courtroom. There would be periods of time (months) that would pass during the case that I did not need to communicate with Lizz, but even after months of no communication the next time that I would speak with Lizz she made it feel like it had only been days since we had spoken, as if MY case was the only one that she was working on :) Her memory and re-call is AMAZING- never having to repeat my "story" or conversations that we had discussed months (or years) earlier saved me a lot of money, time and frustration. There were times that she was reminding me of things I had forgotten in my own case/life!!! It was clear early-on in working with Lizz that she was not the "typical" lawyer, as she was concerned with minimizing MY expenses. For instance, she reminded me several times to email her vs. calling her if at all possible because it was less expensive for me. And when I did email her, she always was so responsive in answering no matter what time of day it was. This is just one example of many where she informed me of ways I could save money in working with her. Divorce is such a stressful and emotional time (especially when it lingers over 3 years) that I'm not sure that I would have much sanity now if I had not known that I could depend on Lizz and that she had my best interest at heart (not just making money). Lizz was the voice of reason and calm in an unreasonable and chaotic situation. She and the whole staff at Hait & Kuhn became to feel like friends and family to me. If I ever need legal help/advise again, there is no other firm that would ever consider! Thank you Lizz for EVERYTHING!!!

I appreciate you recognizing this was not the fault of the firm, but an issue with the availability of the judicial system. We will always consider you a friend of this firm.
