Outstanding in Military Law/Incredible, Dedicated and Compassionate

There are not enough power words in Websters dictionary to describe Steve Shewmaker. The job he performs in a court room for his clients is truly a life saving experience. His military background and knowledge of military law is second to none. I had a 5 year divorce case pending with no end in si...te. Steve was my 3rd attorney. YES, I said 3rd. Do to a personnel family matter my second attorney had to drop my case. However, she didn't leave me hanging, instead she introduced me to Steve Shewmaker and the rest is what fairy tales are made of. He was truly my Fairy God Father. The first day we met Steve showed me in his personality and conversation that he respected the military and the law. He took my case with only one week notice to prepare for trail by jury. Steve worked day and night to include weekends. Yes, I said weekends! He told me my case was personnel and a challenge and that's what he lives for. That went a long way with me because he also told me he would win. I was faced with a divorced case where my ex-wife or her attorney cared nothing about bending the truth or being honest in any way. I needed a Superman attorney who played by the rules and practiced with Honor, Courage, Integrity and Commitment. Steve has all qualities and believe in justice and the truth. The opposing attorneys never saw him coming. He is very prepared and has the ability to take complete control over the court room and the Jury. His closing arguments are spot on. He explains everything to you and he listens which makes you part of his team so you don't feel like a client. If you looking for an attorney who will look out for your best interest and fight to the end for you, then I tell you now to stop looking!!! HIRE Steve Shewmaker. I promise you won't be disappointed. Thank you Steve for everything... You saved my life !

What a great honor to represent you Sir. Jury trials in divorce cases do not come around all that often, and when they do you really got to put it together right. Representing you is one of those rare pleasures. I am so happy for you and your family that you triumphed over real unfairness. You will always have a special place in my memory.

quite literally saved my life.

I could not have asked for a better lawyer. Steven made things happen that no other attorney could. He is stern, but kind. He is persistent, & gets the job done! He managed to speed up every single process. He got me released quickly, even though when i first got there i was not even eligible for a b...ond, & on top of that - got it dropped down from 50K to 5K with the prosecution before i even had to be seen in front of a judge. I was on probation during the time i got my new charges, & not only did he handle the case i hired him for - he went above & beyond & kept me out of jail for the violation of probation. Let me just tell you - this man KNOWS how to talk! He helped a 5 felony case be thrown out entirely. I promise you - if steven isn’t your lawyer, you’re doing it wrong! This is the man that saved my future, & made me feel safe & confident when I was facing a very scary case. If i ever need a lawyer again, i won’t even think to consult anywhere else but right here. If you’re looking for an attorney, you can stop now - because you just found the BEST one out there. Steven, i’ll never be able to thank you enough!

Totally Changed My Negative Perception of Lawyers

After tirelessly searching for the right attorney to represent my brother, I found and hired Mr. Steven Shewmaker. I was blessed enough to find Mr. Shewmaker during a very stressful time in my family's life. Mr. Shewmaker represented my brother, but he did so much more than that. He was an outstandi...ng attorney, a knowledgeable military expert, a form of support and guidance for my brother, and a trusted confidant. I can honestly say that before Shewmaker, I had no trust in attorneys. After Shewmaker, I know that there are amazing attorneys that fight for their clients and deliver the results they promise. Mr. Shewmaker was always honest with us, letting us know what to expect in court, and preparing my brother for the chaos ahead. There's a reason why his rating is 100%. I pray that my family never needs his assistance again, but just in case we do, there's not another attorney that we will call other than Steven Shewmaker.

Integrity and honor

When I first contacted Shewmaker and Shewmaker, I was deployed to a forward area trying to navigate through a messy separation, divorce and multiple allegations made by my spouse to my chain of command ranging from adultery and non-payment of support to treason. I cannot adequately express the degree... to which Steve and his wife saved my life and my career. They helped me through my marathon divorce, medical discharge from the Army, clearing me of all allegations with my chain of command, and being cleared of all the allegations that stood against me that could have cost me my security clearance and my livelihood. Steve interceded on my behalf with the military and was co-counsel in my divorce proceedings. The assistance I received from Shewmaker and Shewmaker was more than what any other lawyer could have provided. They helped me, guided me through military and civilian courts and legal knots, and stood by me through years of legal entanglements. I would not be where I am if not for them. Steve is the epitome of what army officers and legal professionals should be, but rarely are: honorable, reliable, and professional.

War Heroes and Civilians are not Alone!!

As soldier life can hit us hard without reason, warning or mercy. As solider we are trained to fight back, to continue moving forward, but there are fights that are out of our hands. Sometimes can be our fault, but for some reason sometimes is due two second and/or third person. In these cases when... you cannot fight alone you want the best team to your side capable to fight side by side, you need someone capable to see you not as a costumer “$$$$” but as an individual, as human, as a friend asking for help.
