Outstanding in Military Law/Incredible, Dedicated and Compassionate

There are not enough power words in Websters dictionary to describe Steve Shewmaker. The job he performs in a court room for his clients is truly a life saving experience. His military background and knowledge of military law is second to none. I had a 5 year divorce case pending with no end in si...te. Steve was my 3rd attorney. YES, I said 3rd. Do to a personnel family matter my second attorney had to drop my case. However, she didn't leave me hanging, instead she introduced me to Steve Shewmaker and the rest is what fairy tales are made of. He was truly my Fairy God Father. The first day we met Steve showed me in his personality and conversation that he respected the military and the law. He took my case with only one week notice to prepare for trail by jury. Steve worked day and night to include weekends. Yes, I said weekends! He told me my case was personnel and a challenge and that's what he lives for. That went a long way with me because he also told me he would win. I was faced with a divorced case where my ex-wife or her attorney cared nothing about bending the truth or being honest in any way. I needed a Superman attorney who played by the rules and practiced with Honor, Courage, Integrity and Commitment. Steve has all qualities and believe in justice and the truth. The opposing attorneys never saw him coming. He is very prepared and has the ability to take complete control over the court room and the Jury. His closing arguments are spot on. He explains everything to you and he listens which makes you part of his team so you don't feel like a client. If you looking for an attorney who will look out for your best interest and fight to the end for you, then I tell you now to stop looking!!! HIRE Steve Shewmaker. I promise you won't be disappointed. Thank you Steve for everything... You saved my life !

What a great honor to represent you Sir. Jury trials in divorce cases do not come around all that often, and when they do you really got to put it together right. Representing you is one of those rare pleasures. I am so happy for you and your family that you triumphed over real unfairness. You will always have a special place in my memory.

The Best there is....bar none

Steve's a great lawyer but when you add on his military background it makes him unparalleled. My case involved a clarification of a poorly written court order for military retirement pay. I struggled for a year to get the case resolved and finally my attorney said, "let me introduce you to Steve". ... Steve took the case and promptly did the detailed work only the government can understand. Not enough stars to rate this man. Hire him and don't look back.

Absolutely the best law team for military personnel

I was recommended to Steve Shewmaker by several other attorneys that I reached out to. I was going through a divorce and was very close to retirement from the military, so I wanted someone who was very familiar with service member benefits and had experience in military law. Everyone recommended St...eve and his team. With Steve having served over 20 years in the military himself, he continues to portray professionalism, loyalty, candor, and definitely takes the initiative on getting ahead of things when it comes to working on your case. On our first meeting, we sat down and he worked up every number almost to the dollar on various scenarios and what I could expect to come out of the divorce with. I also worked with Hannah Apicelli, who is an attorney there as well. Hannah is a very kind person and just like Steve, makes you feel like a priority. I never had a problem with not receiving any requested information or a callback from them. Hannah and Steve truly do an amazing job at educating and counseling their clients on the outcomes of divorce. I couldn't be happier with the team I chose and will absolutely recommend them to anyone in the future.

He was extremely inspiring and professional .

I don't know where to start. I don't think words can describe the amazing job Steven Shewmaker did for my case. I was hopeless and did not trust anyone after dealing with that problem for over 4 years. Faith and a recommendation brought me to him on the day of his birthday. si will never forget that.... I called his law firm exactly 10 minutes before 5pm. I was looking for a lawyer. He answered the phone and listened to all i had to say. in the middle of my frustration. I had court in just few days and i was running out of time . He made time on his calendar and gave me an appointment 2 days later. After i met with him and i left his office, all i could think is that, he was the right person to fight for me since i couldn't do it on my own and specially because he had an honorably background. I only wanted justice. He was professional and i was just impressed how he handled the case in front of the judge and It was very very INSPIRING. He got justice for me and he made me believe in the justice again. If you need a lawyer that fight for justice and for the truth, just look for him. He was amazing. The justice and law does exist. I was blessed to have him on my path as a lawyer. Thank you so much to you and everyone in your office that was involved in this case specially the amazing and sweet Healy. She was also amazing. DEFENSE FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL

Hopefully, being accused of a crime is not something most people are comfortable with. It wasn’t for me. It was the first time I was ever accused of a crime and it was gut-wrenching. I hired Steve Shewmaker based on a referral from a co-worker. I had a lot of questions; Steve Shewmaker and Mickey W...illiams were very patient in explaining the legal procedures. They looked out for my rights during each step in the process. They established a weekly synchronization meeting which allowed for a continuous exchange of information. They listened to the facts that I presented and by teaching me, I was able to better support my defense. I would recommend Steve Shewmaker and Mickey Williams for anyone who needs support from pragmatic and knowledgeable lawyers.
