Relentless!!

Steve was referred by a lawyer friend as the best with military cases, whether it be EEO, harassment, hostile work environment or other. In an extremely emotional time for me, Steve never waivered. He boldly interviewed and questioned senior level leaders using facts and witness statements to figh...t for me, in the end, closing the case favorably. I'd recommend his services to military and federal employees.

Teamwork at its best

After contacting, consultation then hiring Steve, I was truly impressed with the initial interaction. I couldn't ask for more. Steve and his team nailed it! They listen to my concerns and issues that I was having with the military, gathered all the facts and then went to work! I'm so proud and impre...ssed with the professionalism, determination and efforts that they put forth to defend me as client and my rights. The Best there is....bar none

Steve's a great lawyer but when you add on his military background it makes him unparalleled. My case involved a clarification of a poorly written court order for military retirement pay. I struggled for a year to get the case resolved and finally my attorney said, "let me introduce you to Steve". ... Steve took the case and promptly did the detailed work only the government can understand. Not enough stars to rate this man. Hire him and don't look back.

Government’s Worst Nightmare

I hired Steve to represent me in a military case. Although I was offered a JAG attorney I decided to go with Steve. This was by far the best choice I made. Knowledgeable, caring and charismatic the government’s attorneys were no match. He literally had them shaking as they attempted to present their... case. It was no surprise that we won. Without question I would hire Steve again as well as recommend him to anyone having who is seeking representation in a military court. He is worth more than his fee. I should mention that he fee included him flying out of state for three days to handle my case. Great Job Steve!!

Absolutely the best law team for military personnel

I was recommended to Steve Shewmaker by several other attorneys that I reached out to. I was going through a divorce and was very close to retirement from the military, so I wanted someone who was very familiar with service member benefits and had experience in military law. Everyone recommended St...eve and his team. With Steve having served over 20 years in the military himself, he continues to portray professionalism, loyalty, candor, and definitely takes the initiative on getting ahead of things when it comes to working on your case. On our first meeting, we sat down and he worked up every number almost to the dollar on various scenarios and what I could expect to come out of the divorce with. I also worked with Hannah Apicelli, who is an attorney there as well. Hannah is a very kind person and just like Steve, makes you feel like a priority. I never had a problem with not receiving any requested information or a callback from them. Hannah and Steve truly do an amazing job at educating and counseling their clients on the outcomes of divorce. I couldn't be happier with the team I chose and will absolutely recommend them to anyone in the future.
