Upstanding man!!

I had the pleasure of consulting with Steve after I was referred to him by a family friend. His military experience proved to be vital as my case was in regards to a drug incident in the military. He was that comforting voice that I could turn to throughout my entire ordeal. Steve was upfront and hon...est about all the facts. You could tell from the beginning that Steve wasn't interested in making money off me but that he truly cared and wanted to see the best outcome for me! I would highly recommend Steve to any fellow service member!

Excellent Cousel

Steve was very detailed, knowledgeable of family law, and provided the right balance of "good cop & bad cop" when needed to guide me through a difficult process. He zealously advocated on my behalf while never losing sight, nor failing to remind me of doing what was in the best interest of my childre...n. He kept me out of jail. Enough said. I highly recommend him as he produced satisfactory results.

amazing military lawyer !

I was facing military court martial for a crime I did not commit and with steves help the truth was put out there and a not guilty verdict was given. This man literally saved my career and life , I highly recommend him for any situation you may be in .

The Shewmaker team saved this Marine's a**!

I am an active duty Marine with 16 years of honorable service and counting. I'm also a single father of two teenage boys, one of whom lives with me. I also suffer from PTSD. About seven months prior to the date of this review I found myself in a situation that triggered a fight or flight response, a ...symptom of my PTSD, and tried to remove myself from the situation. In the process of doing so I encountered a policeman who attempted to stop me for my own safety and in my paniced state I resisted, which resulted in my arrest and a felony charge. I figured my career was over, I would be discharged, a convicted felon, and basically my whole life would be ruined. Mr. Shewmaker and Ms. Stancliffe came to visit me in the hospital where I was recieving inpatient treatment for my PTSD, listened to my circumstances, took my case, and saved my career. No felony charge and I get to continue to serve our Great Nation as a United States Marine. Most importantly, I can continue to provide for my children. Mr. Shewmaker and Ms. Stancliffe were professional, compassionate, and worked diligently to save not only my criminal record, but also my career. I cannot adequately express my appreciation and I highly reccomend their services.

This man was so helpful!

Mr. Shewmaker helped me beyond recognition. He is a complete blessing in and of himself. I am so glad that I have had the pleasure to have him by my side while my world was being completely flipped upside down. I thought that there was no way I was getting out of the predicament I found myself in, bu...t Steve found a way. I had been wrongfully accused of Criminal Damage and a Battery Charge. Steve looked at my case and instantly knew that I was the victim in the entire situation. He started on my case immediately. He also made sure that contact was kept with me through the complete duration of my case. I was never at a loss with what he and April Stancliff were doing to save my freedom. He spoke with me like a father, mentor, guide, companion, and a well rounded man of the law. A man of his word are among the many kind things that I can say about him. I called him begging for help and he was instantly there. Steve worked with me financially and personally to make sure that I had everything in order to be able to accomplish what needed to be completed. I have nothing but good to speak over him and his entire staff. Even his secretary Miss Gale was a pleasure to speak with. I hope that you chose to have this man working along side of you because I would not trust anyone else to take his spot.
