Absolutely the best law team for military personnel

I was recommended to Steve Shewmaker by several other attorneys that I reached out to. I was going through a divorce and was very close to retirement from the military, so I wanted someone who was very familiar with service member benefits and had experience in military law. Everyone recommended St...eve and his team. With Steve having served over 20 years in the military himself, he continues to portray professionalism, loyalty, candor, and definitely takes the initiative on getting ahead of things when it comes to working on your case. On our first meeting, we sat down and he worked up every number almost to the dollar on various scenarios and what I could expect to come out of the divorce with. I also worked with Hannah Apicelli, who is an attorney there as well. Hannah is a very kind person and just like Steve, makes you feel like a priority. I never had a problem with not receiving any requested information or a callback from them. Hannah and Steve truly do an amazing job at educating and counseling their clients on the outcomes of divorce. I couldn't be happier with the team I chose and will absolutely recommend them to anyone in the future.

He was extremely inspiring and professional .

I don't know where to start. I don't think words can describe the amazing job Steven Shewmaker did for my case. I was hopeless and did not trust anyone after dealing with that problem for over 4 years. Faith and a recommendation brought me to him on the day of his birthday. si will never forget that.... I called his law firm exactly 10 minutes before 5pm. I was looking for a lawyer. He answered the phone and listened to all i had to say. in the middle of my frustration. I had court in just few days and i was running out of time . He made time on his calendar and gave me an appointment 2 days later. After i met with him and i left his office, all i could think is that, he was the right person to fight for me since i couldn't do it on my own and specially because he had an honorably background. I only wanted justice. He was professional and i was just impressed how he handled the case in front of the judge and It was very very INSPIRING. He got justice for me and he made me believe in the justice again. If you need a lawyer that fight for justice and for the truth, just look for him. He was amazing. The justice and law does exist. I was blessed to have him on my path as a lawyer. Thank you so much to you and everyone in your office that was involved in this case specially the amazing and sweet Healy. She was also amazing. Executive/Military divorce

If you’re retired military and/or a high income earning professional about to go through a divorce - You need to call Steve and Patty Shewmaker. I was hit with a surprise divorce after 20 years of marriage planned for months with her military and divorce lawyers. I was told to move out and begin p...aying $6,700 month in alimony by my wife’s lawyer. Steve stepped in and began fighting for me day one. It got very nasty, but Steve and Patty were there fighting for me every day. I stayed in my house - she left. Steve is always concerned about cost and offers best option in divorce to both parties. We fought for a year going to a final hearing. Steve is outstanding in court. After one day at final hearing, my ex-wife decided her lawyer was not up to the task of going against Steve in court. She received very small lump sum alimony, none of my military retirement, none of the 401K from my work, none of the company stocks, and only 50% equity in the martial home which I continue to live in. The two children we raised together live with me. If you have a military pension, you need call Steve and Patty to help protect it!

You are a good man with a really big heart. It is obvious how you care for those young men. I am sorry your case intersected with such obvious greed (the other attorney). BUT, you always behaved like the perfect Officer & Gentleman. You never broke the faith. You are on the good path.

DEFENSE FOR MILITARY PERSONNEL

Hopefully, being accused of a crime is not something most people are comfortable with. It wasn’t for me. It was the first time I was ever accused of a crime and it was gut-wrenching. I hired Steve Shewmaker based on a referral from a co-worker. I had a lot of questions; Steve Shewmaker and Mickey W...illiams were very patient in explaining the legal procedures. They looked out for my rights during each step in the process. They established a weekly synchronization meeting which allowed for a continuous exchange of information. They listened to the facts that I presented and by teaching me, I was able to better support my defense. I would recommend Steve Shewmaker and Mickey Williams for anyone who needs support from pragmatic and knowledgeable lawyers.

Someone who cares

Steve really went above and beyond for me. Not only did he exert masterful diplomacy with the Plaintif, but he was in contact with me every step of the way. He truly cares about his clients. Even after the case, Steve made sure that I have his cell phone number and offered up his friendship in case I... ever need to just talk to someone. His rates are very reasonable and truth be told, I would have paid more after seeing him work and show his true character throughout it all.
