When every other lawyer says it can't be done......go to Atty. Judy Sartain!!!!!

Judy was absolutely amazing! We had tried to go through stepparent adoption in Columbus, GA as well as Alabama & had hit roadblocks every time. Everyone else told us that they would never vote in favor of alleviating the biological mother's rights even though she was on drugs, unemployed, had multi...ple charges for felonies, (need I go on?). We were really naïve to think that all it took was love, excellent parenting and financial/emotional stability on our part. We had done everything right.....but sometimes that is not enough in the law's eyes. Finally we were given the name Judy Sartain through another lawyer & boy was it the best gift we could have hoped for! Judy knew she was working against the clock because my husband was going to be deployed any day. She made magic happen & finally after years of going bankrupt with other attorneys Judy got the job done!! I am so proud to say our amazing little girl is graduating this year & has multiple college offers/scholarships, won countless awards for academics/athletics and is up for Miss USA. All of this was possible because Judy knew if our baby was sent back to the "egg donor" aka biological mother our daughter would not have stood a chance! Our baby's future would have been over and she would have become game for the multiple drug users the biological mother dated, lived in absolute poverty & had zero support, love or guidance. I begged Judy not to let this happen & Judy assured us she would spend every minute making sure it did not! The day our daughter was awarded to us completely (egg donor's rights terminated) there was not a dry eye in the courthouse. I would highly suggest Atty. Judy Sartain to anyone who is looking for an honest, ethical, caring and (thank goodness!) patriotic attorney. She is the reason my daughter's future looks so bright!

Judy Helped To Make Us a (Bigger and Happier) Family

In 2010 our lives changed...for the better. A baby boy was born to a mother already struggling to care for her 1 year old. And she was willing to give us the gift of her newborn son through adoption! I was also trying to adopt our oldest daughter (my stepdaughter at the time) whom we had battled for ...custody of for over 5 years. A good friend recommended Judy Sartain. A private newborn adoption and a step-parent adoption...both at the same time. Our high-powered law firm balked at either one of them, but Judy stepped in and took us on an amazing journey. Unlike the big Atlanta law firm, she cared about our situation and proved it by making the impossible happen. She calmed us when things were stressful and reassured us when it seemed that last signature wasn't going to come through. A process that began late in September 2010 with our Home Study was expedited beyond our wildest imaginations to our union with our newborn son the Sunday before Thanksgiving, 2010. The fact that the ICPC (interstate compact) was signed and delivered so we could return immediately after Thanksgiving was just one of Judy's incredible achievements. Everything went so quickly, and it would have been impossible without the caring expertise of Judy Sartain. Our family photo with the two judges, on the day we celebrated TWO adoptions in the Atlanta courthouse, includes someone whom we will forever be grateful for--Judy Sartain! We highly recommend her for a million reasons, but there are two really good reasons that will always stand out in our hearts and minds!
