About me

I am a life long resident of Cobb County, married for 25 years and the father of a teen son and daughter. My wife is a public school teacher, my son a Star Scout in Boy Scout Troop 200 and my daughter a Sophomore at Mercer University in Macon. My family is active at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church in Marietta, GA. I believe that no two cases are alike and that the lawyer must listen to and understand the client's unique concerns in order to properly advise and protect. Having faced adversity and challenges in my own life I realize that the lawyer needs to know more than just the law. While I am not the client's parent, coach, minister or friend, I am a reliable and effective advocate and legal counselor. I work hard to deserve my clients' trust and respect.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority.

  1. Suspension
    issued in GA, 2005

This means the attorney lost his or her license to practice law for a period of time. The attorney typically returns to practicing law when the suspension expires.

Jeffrey’s comment: “I volunteered for Discipline from the Georgia Supreme Court. I served a suspension and emerged as a better lawyer with deeper insights into my obligations to my clients, the Courts, the community and the bar.”
