I was recently involved in a domestic dispute with my girlfriend and we were both arrested and charged with family violence. My world was turned upside down and I was scared out of my mind of what would happen. This was my first time ever being arrested and I knew that this could result in having a... criminal record. I’ve never had to hire an attorney in my life for anything. After researching and talking to several lawyers, including Diane, I decided to retain her services as I felt very confident after our initial phone consultation that she would be able to help me. This was the best decision I’ve made in my life. She suggested that I take steps before my court date to help my cause, which proved to be beneficial. After visiting with her the second time she forwarded all of my paper work to the solicitor in the case. Within about three hours of leaving her office she was able to get the solicitor to agree to dismiss my case with no further actions needed. I didn't even have to go to court. Diane truly saved my life!!!

I would not recommend Diane Cherry to anyone! I had the worst experience with her more like her secretary because she was just too busy for me even though I had put down a 3,000$ retainer. First lawyer I have ever dealt with and I want impressed at all. I take my life and the things going on in it se...riously, she did not. I felt like I put the most important part of my life in her hands and that she could have cared less. She also told me she had other things going on and cases she was preparing for and that she was basically to busy to deal with mine at the moment. She is a joke of a lawyer if you ask me. I hate to be so blunt and outright ugly but all she did was peddle paperwork and waste my time and money. I did not want to hire her in the first place, unfortunately time was on her side because the lawyer I really wanted couldn't see me until Friday I was under time sensitive circumstances. I now wished I would have waited. This woman didn't want to hear about my case at all, she didn't even know what she what she was getting herself into. She didn't want details or my past history. She went through 3,000 in a matter of weeks, never did we have mediation or court or anything. We decided to go our separate ways and even after I told her not to file another single thing because I wanted to take the remainder of my retainer elsewhere she made sure she emailed to where I had to respond so she could keep charging and filed unnecessary paperwork "in my best interest" even though I told her through email not to she said she was going to do it anyways. I had 89$ left after everything was said and done...and NOTHING was done or accomplished at all! Needless to say a seriously unsatisfied customer. What is the world coming to? People have lost sight in truly helping someone, especially someone you pay to do a job they say they do well. :/ Another lesson learned the hard way. Thought for sure she would have helped make the divorce/cold custody process a little less painful, I was sadly mistaken. I hope you have endless pockets if you hire her and a love for someone who clearly could care less about what you are going through.

I am proud to say that my review of her is outstanding as well. Diane is professional, knowledgeable and responsive. Additionally, she helped me get thro...ugh the divorce and stay within my budget. Ms Cherry helped me through one of the hardest (& best bc of my son) years of my life. My son was barely born when me and his dad began the divorce process and it was extremely emotionally /financially exhausting . Diane responded to me on mother's day,a holiday and a weekend and then met with me the... very following Monday to discuss my familys situation and the legal process of divorce child custody parenting plAn etc etc in Cobb county. I felt really confident in her ability and she exceeded my expectations. She knows the Cobb county courts well and is very comfortable there. She always had everything organized and prepared (including me which all things considered:baby college etc is a miracle). We just finalized the divorce literally today and I'm happy with the result. The parenting plan and child support was fair and mediation was very successful. She breaks things down so you get what's going on, responds promptly to emails and tries to save you money time and stress where she can. She's also talented in dealing with aggressive rookie lawyers so I'd have no problem recommending her to anyone.
